  4. spent most of my childhood on this farm in the lincolnshire fens, near Peterborough, just a few pics of what its been like will add some more pictures soon, just need to shrink them so they are small enough to put in the posts
  5. don't see the point in the new decals, haven't seen one yet, we bought a brand new one in september and thats still got the older decals on it
  6. absoloutely amazing model well done, all the little finishing touches just make it fantastic, where did you get the air horns from ?
  7. my first attempt at a massey ferguson 6465 dynashift, should have it finished fairly soon here are the pictures so far...
  8. crikey what an amazing plough, that is a fantastic model well done ! P.s. you like your new hollands dont you ! Cheers, Josh
  9. Well what i did was ordered a 6920s front axle from the siku website, but the bit behind the axle which turns the steering wheel didnt fit, so i took it off, then took the bit off a 7530 front axle, and screwed it on to the 6920s axle, so it fitted much better, mind you it didn't last long because the screws kept knocking themselves out, if i was to do it again i would find a better way of fitting it together so it doesnt fall to bits on me again
  10. how on earth do you get the bonnet off this model took a bonnet off a 7920 earlier and it came off easy as anything, tried to take it off a 7930 and it isn't having it ! help please ?
  11. gathered up a few bits tonight to use to make it, i am going to have the back wheels from the frame below as the wheels on the machine, then have the hitch from a set of britains discs which i found as the hitch when all the body work is done, i will probably make a few prototypes and see how they go so i have a few different ones to choose from, then decide which one is best.
  12. i could do i suppose, although i've never seen or used one, all the de-stoners in my area are hitched to the back of the tractor so that's what im used to, although i have 2 helicopters given to me so i suppose i could make a hitch mounted one afterwards
  13. this is just a rough start on a de-stoner, not trying to follow any other makes of de-stoner this is just purely my own work, more of an experiment than anything else really ! this main body below is actually a britains helicopter, which i plan to use as the main chassis. more pictures to come as i go along !
  14. i will see i already have one of your 6930's which is sat in the shed with a 5 furrow plough on the back, i bought it from udimore at spalding back in october
  15. that's what im going to do, i will send them an email with a picture of what has happened and then see what they can do for me, job done
  16. thats a possibility, although i have no linkage on mine anymore as i attempted to change the lift arms and hitch on it but the old style didnt fit and as i tried to put the original one back on it snapped, so i'm now stuck with no hitch and because it's attached to the main part of the tractor, i now need a new 7530 which is another fault because as soon as the linkage is damaged, you need a new tractor whereas on the old ones you could just unscrew the bottom, swap the linkage and away you go
  17. yeah, i think his terra tracs are from the britains quadtrac so thats why they have 3 small wheels, i should think it will be shucho that makes it or possibly norev, we are having a claas teleporter on demo at work soon i will ask our dealer see if he has heard anything else, even though i doubt i will get told any more than what you have already told us
  18. Is there any way to change the linkage on the siku 7530 ? it is part of the casting so cannot be removed or changed i just didn't know whether anybody knew how to change it, due to the fact that i tried putting a siku 5 furrow plough on the back of it and it lifted way too high and didnt drop low enough, with the last furrow still about half a centimetre off the ground ! whereas the linkage on the old 6920s' i couldn't complain about, they didnt lift too high and they dropped the plough just spot on ! you could also remove the linkage on the older ones if they got broken etc... whereas now you cant remove the linkage on the 7530, they should have put the old linkage off the 6920s etc onto the 7530 and made it removable so you can change it if you wish.
  19. if siku can make 2 headers for the jd forager, then why can't they do it for the new claas forager !
  20. Thats what i was thinking ! although if that happens i shall be buying one and putting it on lexion 600 rear wheels and dave towse's terra tracs, as the britains wheels are a pile of rubbish and always at a funny angle ! and probably a new header because the britains headers are also totally rubbish !
  21. one of these on a stand at lamma, with a ros t7070 above it, took me around about 10-20 mins to decide which one to get as they both look very nice models, went with the t7070 in the end but going to get a t6090 when i get the chance, to join the rest of my nh's on the shelf !
