  1. oh right, you would probably need to modify a plough for artisan linkage then \ i stick to siku linkage it saves me modifying everything to fit wiking or artisan
  2. yep, another farm near me used to pull an artic trailer loaded with little square bales to put over the spuds with a 2850, didn't struggle at all, mind you, the bales weren't up the standard or the density of an mf 2190...
  3. i would say a tvt, i personally think the tvts look a whole lot better than the cvxs, and plus britains have made a cvx (even if they did make a hash of the glass in the cab) so i think a tvt would be much better, but it's up to you, also i think you should fit fendt wheels to it
  4. i agree 2850s are nice tractors, farm near me has one on a front loader
  5. i know that's what i said, the 135-145 was without the boost due to the fact i don't know what the boost is on the 6830s
  6. well actually a 6930 is 180hp when the boost kicks in, but otherwise its 155, so i should say a 6830 is between 135-145
  7. i know what you mean, usually i just get 4 screwdrivers some glue and a hacksaw but i just had a look at the 7930 i have it would probably be a bit difficult to add front linkage, because it has such a thin front end theres nothing to wedge it in to so i dont know \ and usually if i want weights for my front linkage i use a siku front linkage, nick the weights off any random britains tractor using a hacksaw and then buy a siku linkage adapter set, glue one of the adapters onto the weight and then it will slot onto the front linkage, i will get a pic of my jd weights i did soon
  8. anybody got any idea where i can get some more of these ? or like them, i already have one which is on my 6920s but i want twin beacons without having to change the beacons completely, HELP !
  9. you will probably just have to buy a britains one and add the linkage yourself mate
  10. i think it's about time i went to bed, im cream crackered !
  11. yeah probably something like that, i'll ask my mate when i see him
  12. it cant be far off my friend used to pull a 5 furrow lemken plough with one
  13. Going to pop into the local britains shop as soon as i can i currently have a layout of about 900-1000 acres with a little bit of contracting on the side, anybody suggest any new britains models i could add to the collection tomorrow ? or any siku ones if i see any in the future ?
  14. john deere 6800, i have a feeling they are 140hp, will find out from a friend !
  15. yeah well i plan to paint it orange and put maschio decals on it like this one which is the real thing i have at work
  16. yeah just needs a paint and some decals, also planning to put the stand from a uh prosol powerharrow at the back, so when i drop it off the tractor it will stand up straight so i wont have to lean it against a shed
  17. good combine. two problems, the header doesn't lift or lower and the rear wheels dont turn :-/ other than that it's a good combine
  18. i could change it i suppose, i would probably get one of Dave Towse's de-stoners to run behind it as well
  19. I know it was just an idea, change the wheels and adjust the header on the tx66 and that would be perfect
  20. the way to solve this is, take on contracting and get a lexion 600 ! job done
  21. yeah because it's not quite wide enough to be a ridger, because 2 ridges should be the width of the tractor, whereas on this one a tractor is the same width as about 3, so its not quite right width wise \
