Massey boy's Farming Pictures 2011 Combining UPDATED AUGUST 28TH
JoshParkinson replied to Massey Boy's topic in Tractors
Good photos Cerin, i'm guessing one of the tank flaps fell down on the TX64, the same thing has happened on ours a couple of times this season -

That's a good idea, although it's done now so i think i'm just going to leave it really, i'll get the roll bar made up at some point then i'll have another look and i might use a pencil not sure though -

Cheers, and the exhaust was the only thing i have, and i know about the wheels i've already thought about that, i'm suprised nobody has picked up on the roll bar yet, i completely forgot -

Here it is. -
Agree with Tris on the 7530, although i think it would have to be the John Deere 6920s powerquad changing up through the shifts under load. Our T7050 sounds pretty nice too.

Looking good mate! I'm just getting some plastruct ordered myself, going to have a go at a veg planter i look forward to seeing how your trailer progresses. What are you using for rams? And how are you going to hinge it at the back? -
Whats on your workbench???

This isn't quite a conversion but i've made myself a little heat chamber so that when i am spraying in cold conditions i can put it in there and switch the light on, the light is a 100 watt bulb and lets out a fair bit of heat to dry the paint slightly quicker, i used it today on my 7930 bonnet and was very impressed with the finish after just an hour or so in there. With the perspex over the front to stop the heat escaping. -

Done a bit more today, wish i had put a bigger set of wheels on it as it sits a bit low to the ground but never mind, then i have resprayed the bonnet (thanks to blt for the 7930 bonnet) and put the stack on it. -

Ahh cool. Well a tunnel i don't know whether you would be familiar with them but they run down the centre of a grain store, you can walk either on top of it or inside it hence the name of a tunnel, then there are small outlets all the way down each side which you attach a sort of piping to called ducting and then you tip grain on top of the ducting, then you blow hot air down the tunnel and it goes out of these outlets to dry the grain, you might have seen one before but if not i will get a picture when i am at work next. -

That looks awesome mate! if you put a tunnel inside that and painted it grey that would be just like one of our grain stores, but it still looks excellent as a workshop and i like the little tool chest, is this going in a layout? -
It's still on the Saint Guthlacs site Andy, don't know if you've heard about St. Guthlacs/George Farmer merging? But anyway i'm still on the same site but it's now under a different name with different management etc, most of the teachers have left due to the fact their contract was 'site based' so when the site closes in 2014 to move to holbeach they will be left with no jobs, so i'm not quite sure what to expect yet \

Flatlift i reckon, due to the packer roller and you were asking about simba solo tines the other day, 2+2 = flatlift. -
Holding the tailboard shut on the beet trailers when on short journeys on the loadall because the spring loading has gone in the throttle, we use a spring tied to a bit of baler twine tied round the steering column tying sheets down on trailers holding doors/gates shut next time i'm at work i'll have a good look round

Bit of an update. I recently got this belt off ebay. Then had a bit of a change around (don't ask about the Lexion 600 i will explain further down the post.) Re-organised my literature into folders so it's slightly easier to find the series i want. And then finally, i've put the lexion 600 and 8330 in place to represent Siku's T670i and 8360R which i am going to put into a diorama like this and put in that place, it's just a slightly different way of displaying and since i'm going to also have britains' 8360R, i can display the britains one and have the siku one in the diorama. -
Just looks like a decal change from a 960 to a 980 to me Paul
