  1. I'd figured it was a TM and it looks good. I was kidding about the T7.270.
  2. Did my first bit of bricklaying at college today, just started to get the hang of it and it was time to pack up, just doing a simple pyramid to start with which i will finish next week.
  3. Never done a PMA linkage before, but could it go on the underneath to screw onto the tractor?
  4. Realising i'm going to get moaned at in the morning as the English teacher set us homework on 'Of Mice And Men' and it required us to get quotes from the book, without giving us copies of the book, and then i've got a controlled assessment the week after Spalding on this book which is basically the new version of coursework but in exam conditions so not only am i going to have John Deeres on my mind but i will also have my English teacher looking... Up at me (she's rather short) moaning at me because i haven't done all the work she set... Nice. I'm off to bed.
  5. It is indeed Joe. Did you find the mirrors in the box when i sent it to you?
  6. Taking the CD Player is one thing, but pouring oil inside the car is just... What on earth? Or would it be anything to do with finger prints etc?
  7. I reckon Mike's onto something there Mark, you could make a little MF museum inside it then get a container wagon and modify it to go on the back of Hattie and take it to shows
  8. There's your answer. We just use any straw for that, usually wheat straw, and then for instance last winter we had some spare bales so we broke them and used them to 'bed' the beet down and keep it warm so it didn't rot, and we got it all in by doing that thankfully. Although we have used linseed straw for beet pads, and it lasts much better than most other straw. the other week i was loading wheat bales that were 2/3 years old, completely rotten, and then i was loading linseed bales that were 5 years old and still holding together better than the wheat was.
  9. Ely power station won't take it. Burns too hot apparently
  10. If i'm honest mate i'm not sure, and quite a few people have asked me that but i will find out and report back I did at first think it would be to save using more diesel to run the chopper, but i would've been using just as much if not more with the loadall pushing it all up into heaps, someone on here might know but if not i'll ask next time i'm at work.
  11. I went mental with the Loadall I was gathering it up into heaps ready to be burnt
  12. And then finally, finishing off in linseed on a lovely afternoon.
  13. This year i didn't really take as many photos as i would've liked, mainly because i got some work about half way through august. But i took some pictures at work so i thought i might as well put them on here.
  14. I just use proper grain, does look rather big in the trailers especially peas, but there's nothing more realistic than the real thing.
  15. So hold on a minute, i could get exactly the same model cheaper just because it isn't a show model? Whats the difference between a plow city model and a prestige? Are the plow city models limited edition?
  16. Oh god, not exactly the vision i wanted whilst trying to eat my dinner...
  17. Oh my sweet mother of jesus I want all 3 of them! Is there any chance they will be doing an EU version of that combine too, possibly with the tracks?
  18. Was meant to be replacing some fencing in the garden with dad this afternoon but it rained just as we were about to start so scrapped that idea, just about to go out and sharpen my work knife as it's slightly blunt... Cutting baler twine is like smashing concrete with a teaspoon.
  19. I couldn't get on just now using http://www.farmtoysforum.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=27 But then when i tried http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum I got on no problems.
  20. I know Leslie Brown ran an outfit like that, except his was a New Holland FX something or other with a modified New Holland combine header, 18 foot or something like that for wholecrop. P.s. John have you noticed the treads are on opposite ways on the front wheels on the jag?
  21. I think mine was about the same age, used to run it alongside a JD 6410 and 6920s, a real fleet that was! They should have been in the box when it was new though, unless he just didn't notice them, there might be somebody on here who has stripped an 880 down for the chassis or something and may have a set of mirrors, might be worth asking on here
  22. Get on the phone and say GIVE ME MY BLOOMIN' MIRRORS!
