  1. hi guys just thought id put this up, its what i have been doing for the last few weeks for McConnel, have a look http://www.mcconnel.com/Aboutus/News/2012/modelmarvel.aspx
  2. yes the hole model comes apart very easily ya all the windows and doors are separate parts but if they do fall out when you have it apart they go back in simply
  3. thanks lads i tair into it every now and then ya it dose look more like a ts110! ya i think ill make another one out of a 6 cilinder chasis the bonet is a bit short and the cab is a bit low!
  4. bin a while since i up dated this but i changed the casis to a imber 6640 with the cab wheels off of uh 6030 (i think) pma lift arms still not happy with it! have to raise the cab and move the front axil forward
  5. that turned out fair well brian mite be somthing ill get to some day . i have the webbes sitting hear for the destoner when ever you want them
  6. i get most of my brass from a place in London "Squires materials" they have EVERYTING! get the solder they have i don't know what it is but its the best iv used so far, you dont even have to use flux once the brass is clean! for heating it get a strong soldering iron or the best i find is a gas torch works really well, draper do one but they are all the same really. also when soldering get a tinfoil baking tray that you put cakes on it keeps the heat in the area you are working on saving time and not getting any fumes from it in your eyes (eg. not burning the table ha!) hope it helps its tricky but once you get use to it you wont ever used plactic agen!
  7. wow how did i miss this! that is perfect! i tought it was the real thing looking at the pictures of the model! hope to see more from you soon
  8. sham their is a lady! just makes me want to start my 290 but i have to build a shanky cab nice to see how you did it aswell well done brian
