  11. after reading in the tractor and machinery magazine that the great eccleston show was having a theme on the 50th anniversary of the new generation john deere range i decided to head down for a look on saturday, after a 3 hour drive arrived at the show ground and got parked , was a bit dissapointed to say the least when i got to the vintage section to find only one deere their ( to make matters worse when i gott to the car park i realised my camera was still at home) the selection of vintage was good, had a wander round the few trade stands there was and spent an hour or so watching the tractor pulling, as i was leaving and walking past a marquee thet was labelled memory marquee i decided to have a look im glad i did in the back of the marquee there was a display of models by the ribble valley model farm and construction club with 3 farming diarammas and a collector from dumfries with his john deere models in all it made it a worth whilst visit for me
