  1. hi tank have had the model since last tuesday, excellent cab detail a good heavy model good detail and very different from the sg2 model artic deeres a must for any collection (mind you i wouls say that being a john deere man) and well woth the price in my opinion regards brian
  2. ive not opened the box yet but the detail looks stunning through the plastic window and also a good heavy model well worth the wait and looks good (or should i say stands out from ) the previous plow city cabbed artics, a must have in my opinion
  3. just recieved in the post today the jd 8760 plow city 2010 model and the 8320r anhydrous ammonia set
  4. id agree give b o r. a pm ive jusst collected a 1365 trailed mower and a few other models from him, trailed mower is 100% spot on and everything works as it should, excellent model maker
  5. noel agco were giving out mini brochures with cloths, models keyrings etc and the white mf is advertised in that with part number at 29 so looks like the irish dealer is making serious mark up o his models
  6. earnvale tractors at balbegie still had three during the week,
  7. agco at the r.h.s. were saying there is one dealer in ireland sitting on 400 white`s charging 50 pound each
  8. hi i dont know if the english john deere dealers are doing the half price offer on the 8430 precission tractor but the local dealers here in scotland heve been doing them for 29 pounds for the past five months as discontinued stock, regards brian
  9. was at the agco stand at the royal highland show today and bought the 1/32 mf 135 industrial. uh 7499 and a white 8690# starting to get worried nothing green and yellow in sight
  10. brian the detail on the 1365 mower is outstanding, and your eye to have the detail spot on works perfect as the real machine, i wouldnt have believed it possible to have such an excellent model in my collection, and the list continues your skills are excellent from mower, to the 3765 forager you have built for me and the numerous john deere 6 cyl 40/50 series you hace customised over the past few years stunning models from a very very talented man

  12. just arrived in the post siku john deere 7430 kommunal snowplow set in orange, 6520 hoftraktor 2005 agritechna set, and 5720 with loader zlf2004 model from ireland and another box containing 3140 opu cab , boxed 3350 sg2 cab and a mint unboxed deutz from america

  15. re reply 15, the cab on the mf 35 looks like a duncans cab off a 135, you can see where pieces have been added eg round the rear fenders and at the joint with the bonnet and the roof looks like an addition too
  16. hi andrew i missed you again, i was in the small field with the vintage tractors and as for the que being to kinross it was more like up as far as bills front door from 930 in the morning im glad i got a quick look around in the morning it was a good selection of vintage and for one of the smaller shows an excellent variety of new machinerty as well, great pictures andrew and next show im at and your their well need to say hello
  17. hello fellow ftf members my names brian a.k.a. mr softie, i grew up in a farming background in the stirling area and as a young person had a wide variety of britains models (sadly played with and lost the boxes), i left the farming approxamitly in 1990 to become an ice cream man (hense the name) i kept my hand in at the farm helping at busy times such as harvest and hay time and kicked my collecting habit off again roughly five years ago, and had lookedd at the ftf but never signed up , by chance i met bill at the g and m isle of skye hotel show and he convivced me to join and once again it taken me about 3 months to write this intro, just need to get roung to listing my collection now and getting some photos up, and the main point of my collection is john deere`s, regards brian

  19. just met iup with a collector who`s selling his collection and bought a mint 8400 precision, agrisum 6920 row crop conversion,agrisum 6920s front weight conversion, a mint unboxed 3350, mint boxed britains 130 grain drill whilst at the moira show i bought a mint boxed 3350 with genuine ertl metal britains type 3 point hitch a 6820 conversion with front linkage and weight block a 7430 conversion with front linkage and weight block a 8345rt and a terraflex for my joskin tanker a 6820 with front loader, boxed set of stoll attachments for loader a pdc 3350 and a pdc mchale bale wrapper
  20. ill be at the show as well, accomidation booked , thanks to bill for saving me a fortune with his advice on how excellent the displays are, zwolle will need to wait for another year
