  1. A few nice pics of Fendts, Masseys etc here http://www.gvs-agrar.ch/Bildergalerie/bild_pg1.htm
  2. Sorry, they need to be 47.8mm o'all, 27.8 mm across rim, 13.8 mm wide. Thanks.
  3. Can anyone suggest a source/donor model to get a pair of rear wheels this size. (16.9 x 34) Thanks
  4. Just found this thread; making an 8360 so this has helped prevent a lot of head scratching..........anybody got a Maxxum? Cheers FP
  5. What do you do with it, FP? When we grew grass for seed the only things that would tackle it were 'old' cows.
  6. Neat idea! Agree that some legs would just finish it off.
  7. If I remember rightly, first job should be check the brakes

    A few bits and bobs

That sums up NZ ;D Nice ones. I liked the MF 61s as a tractor but they were pretty poor mechanically . Obviously the gathering wheels on the JF were invented before metal detection!

    One for Fendt Fans

Thought that would grab your attention FP
  10. Thanks guys, The mesh is 'insect screen' available from your local builders merchant at pence per metre, it's either aluminium or plastic (which is nice). It's good for all sorts, like silage trailers etc. Mrs jdc (affectionately known as Tartan Terror) would not be impressed if I took something even as small as a tea strainer! Trouble is after I've done a couple I get bored Figured it was only right!
  11. That 35 looks absolutely the business. Thanks for the photos.
  12. Some nice photos of the new UK range ;D Click Here
  13. Doesn't take long to make things like buckets up when it's easy to attach them to forklift
  14. Very nice plough! You're finally getting closer to my size of implement
  15. Another couple of attachments made. Once it's all painted will probably look bettter
  16. I haven't liked the toolcarrier on this model for a while and decided to make it better/more realistic. Here is a simple method. Gently prize the two halves of the carrier apart. Cut off the pastic 'bars' to leave just the arms with a portion at the top to drill a 2mm hole through. Insert a brasss tube/bar through these holes and glue in position. The bottom bar is only 1mm and is simply surface glued.(pic) Trim these to length after deciding on width between brackets on buckets etc. Make up some brackets from plastic card to fit over the bars(pic). Make the bottom hole slightly keyholed so that it clicks over the brass bar. Attachments can easily be fitted with these brackets and can be integrated when building them. First is a photo of the real thing. Second is a photo of the unaltered versus the modified carriage. Third is the type of bracket required. Fourth is grain bucket with 'new' brackets.

    Grass seed kit.

Unusual stuff! NH can be a bit iffy about warranty even if you only put duals on the front
  18. Well, I've just primed a chassis and it works OK for that! It's very easy to control paint flow but I'm not sure if it would be really suitable for thin line type work. I tried the jars and it takes a good air pressure to generate suction to lift liquid. All in all good enough for me ;D
  19. The 'Ebay one' arrived this morning and looks pretty good. Will try it tonight!
  20. I grew some wheat for an old neighbour last year, the first time he'd had wheat for 28 years. He got 4.3 t/ac. I asked him if he was happy and he said 'Aye not bad, the last time I grew wheat I got 23 cwts' ;D
  21. Looks like the same kit.......but unbadged. It's ?23.95 +vat At MM tho. Will let you know about Ebay one! Thanks
  22. Thanks. Found this which looks more like my budget http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PRECISION-AIRBRUSH-KIT-EW220_W0QQitemZ5658459124QQcategoryZ45205QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
  23. Thanks Doc, I think I have a catalogue.........somewhere!
  24. Need to replace one now. Would like anyone's thoughts on best currently available - at a sensible price.
  25. The shed is around 125 feet long (18' bays) by 85' span. It has bracing in two end bays and 'X' bracing in the centre bay. Silos are relatively expensive, and the associated equipment too. Big shed+forklift - job done. As said elsewhere easy to fumigate etc. and can load 29 t in around 20 mins. I keep this shed for grain only, but it is 0.75 miles from the drier so grain has to be hauled and it would be expensive to duplicate conveyors etc here.
