I did a spell when one big tractor was enough but took on some extra acres and found that I couldn't plough and sow it all myself. So decided on another 4wd tractor to plough in front of drill and do 'runaround' jobs.(only got narrow wheels for Renault...same as MF)
Renault does about 700 hrs/year NH about 650 so it's quite balanced and all the equipment can be pulled by either tractor in case of breakdown.
Sounds ominous :)
It's been a bloomin good tractor and seems to be over it's 135 hp.....that's why it's still here!
A few pics of it working in here http://lethamshank.co.uk/Gallery/index.htm?spgmGal=Crops/Cultivations
It's to go under Accord drill on NH 8360, old Khun 3002 is moving to front until it dies! I will have a nice day in workshop moving 'A' frame markers etc...
I read that somewhere else too, to try and improve traction with bigger rear wheals and improve lock with smaller front wheels - what does that remind you of?
Yes I know! It is a model of an Opico type portable auger which has the wheels that way round. It will be more of a toy, so I hope he won't complain.
Probably just do what I would do...pick the thing up with the fork lift 'cos the tyres are perished
