  1. Were early 8260s turboed? If not maybe an addition.
  2. Any body used fibre optics? I used them once on a model railway but never on a shed or tractor...........yet.
  3. I like that convo as the Joal carriage is closer to the real one than the Britains. Neat.
  4. I'm pretty sure they changed to the more maroony red a few years ago anf they had a spell with silver wheels.
  5. Thanks - can' t get over irrigating before drilling
  6. Stopped snowing but -6 and dropping!
  7. I did a spell when one big tractor was enough but took on some extra acres and found that I couldn't plough and sow it all myself. So decided on another 4wd tractor to plough in front of drill and do 'runaround' jobs.(only got narrow wheels for Renault...same as MF) Renault does about 700 hrs/year NH about 650 so it's quite balanced and all the equipment can be pulled by either tractor in case of breakdown. Sounds ominous :)
  8. This is chugging along nicely too............ http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6995885971&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  9. Now that's what I call a chainsaw!
  10. Could be.......but I reckon you should stick with the Geisha strolling up and down your spine [
  11. Well, they didn't charge for p&p .........just as well I didn't buy it on eBay
  12. It's been a bloomin good tractor and seems to be over it's 135 hp.....that's why it's still here! A few pics of it working in here http://lethamshank.co.uk/Gallery/index.htm?spgmGal=Crops/Cultivations
  13. It's to go under Accord drill on NH 8360, old Khun 3002 is moving to front until it dies! I will have a nice day in workshop moving 'A' frame markers etc...
  14. Whats the idea of roller first? Is it for a rough finish for erosion or something?
  15. Ordered this yonks ago. Finally arrived, but not gift wrapped

    New JCB Fastrac

I read that somewhere else too, to try and improve traction with bigger rear wheals and improve lock with smaller front wheels - what does that remind you of?
  18. Those are great photos of excellent models.
  19. If you want the roofs to look 'really old', give em a light random brush of PVA and sprinkle some flock on..........looks better than it sounds!

    RFM going

There are big changes in my area too and Case seem to be net losers... Valtra dealer still independent from main Agco dealer tho.
  21. It's actually a glass fibre 'cane' used for marking out trial plots. They're about 6mm in dia = 193mm roughly 8 inch auger. Easy to drill, glue etc
  22. Yes I know! It is a model of an Opico type portable auger which has the wheels that way round. It will be more of a toy, so I hope he won't complain. Probably just do what I would do...pick the thing up with the fork lift 'cos the tyres are perished
