I agree with Smurf, Superglue is OK, but long term and for really dissimilar materials 2 pack epoxy is best. Roughen and clean surface first and it'll never break
Thanks all. She's on a 'G' plate, done 6700 hrs, and only had a clutch, 2 batteries and a hydraulic pump. Going to replace handbrake discs soon. There's a few years left in her yet!
Cheers. I've decided that instead of salvaging some other old MF or something, I'll just try and keep this one pristine..........might become a collectors item before I die.
3rd Attempt!
The 3065 is still used for all the light jobs, like rolling. It used to be No. 2 tractor for many years and spent it's life on a 3m power harrow, 4, Massey 30 drill or 8t AS Ace trailer.
Here's a couple of pics.
'Fraid I can't remember exactly but it was reckoned to be of similar hp/size.
I just put a 5f Kverneland vari width on it and it pretended it wasn't there.
Here's a couple of pics from last summer when I had a demo of the Atles. I didn't have anything big enough to slow it down though.
My mate was Renault dealer but lost out in reshuffle and is now doing Valtras, so hopefully should get a 'wee shot' of them now and again. Looks like he'll be getting a 'N' series as a demonstrator first.
First one here is the trolley which discharges the grain to left or right and can be moved electrically back and forth along conveyor.
Second is my little drier which fills from auger above it at right end. This lifts grain from an intake pit on other side of wall. Discharge is at left into auger which lifts to conveyor.
Took some pics today, really dark dull day and shed a bit minty just now..........
Hope they help, FP.
First is conveyor belt in trough. About 250 mm wide. Runs at about 25 t.p.h.
Second is drive end of conveyor, with auger which lifts grain from drier.
