Helping my neighbour fit a MX loader to a Renault 620. It works, so having a couple of cocktails to celebrate.
-
Not too shabby.
Excellent photography.

Fill in the gaps in 60s & 70s tractors that I have been reluctant to tackle.......

Been a v. good year. I think the Marge 7610 - not perfect but superb nonetheless.
-
Big rise in Kero and Gasoil thefts round this area according to our local Farmwatch. Locking a polythene tank is no good as they just drill through - made a mess of a couple of bunded tanks locally - idiots.
-
I'm pretty much like everyone else on here - don't think I could pin it down to just one. Still thinking.
:D

Very nice job. Those footplates look well - accurate drilling.
-
Lovely work, great front wheels, what are they off?
If you mean the model - PMA ; or the photo, I don't know, they were at a farm sale.
-
Don't know if this is of interest to anyone - or even good value ?
-
Thanks everyone.
So the theory about heat travelling is correct after all John
;D
I've got the burnt fingers to prove it!
very nice like the change to the back linkage
I just moved the existing PTO plate forward by cutting the back of the gearbox off and added arms.

tinkering along on 3 of these at present, getting back into the building game after a break
Looking good Sean - what colour are they going to be?
Got a little project going, early days but this will be my first scratch build, Any guesses?......... here's a picture or two, more to come soon.
Given your name it wasn't too difficult.
This will be interesting.

I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but you've made a lovely job of that, Erik.
-
A very nice model, beautifully finished.
-
All the best Johny. 'Red' letter day.
-
Thanks Joe - I saw them at Penrith on Ian's (farmmodelspares) stand and thought they'd just be right. I think they're from a Claas Volto.

Assuming you are using solder.. how do you get one with it mate
Getting better is about the best I can say. To be honest some of the fiddly wee bits are stuck on with epoxy. Nothing worse than soldering one end of something and the other end drops off.
blimey thats nice , will we be seeing a drill to go on the back to then???
Got the dimensions of a Khun/Accord DA, so will have a go at some stage.
Thank you Bill, Johnny, Robert and David

Bless him.. looks like he bagged the best spot in the house as well John... how old is he/she
She is 14 weeks now. Absolutely loves heat.

Patrick is a growing boy... he's got his Dog Training Xmas party tomorrow... he'll be making the effort to try and impress the lady dogs obviously.
You're going to have that dog as daft as yourself, Marky.
What do you think he'd make of TT's latest acquisition? Just a snack?
(It's called Loki - apparently a Norse spirit of mischief)

Well with these long dark nights I thought I'd have a go at my drilling tractor c1991. The Ritchie front presses were very popular here at the time and did a good job - filled with water they were about 500kg.
There's still a few little bits'n'pieces to tidy/touch up on the tractor. It's all brass which I find I like working with these days.

Only one point i would change on the model is the bonnet decal, it is placed to high on the bonnet.
You are correct. I have looked at it for so long I didn't notice.
Fixed now, thanks.
-
Thank you, chaps.
that looks really well mate i like the front axle is that a pma axle
It's from PMA - I think it was a kit, wheels and axle.
Very nice model. Is the rear linkage PMA as well ?
Most of it!
This is one of my favorits .
I take that as a compliment from a Massey lover like yourself!

Another beautiful piece of work.
-
Yeah, it should go back together quicker as I know how to do it all now and don't need to spend so long looking at exploded diagrams or parts to see how the come off. Need to get the dealer to come out and put a new oil cooler on though as the air con system will need evacuating and recharging to do it.
The front PTO on the 8360 wasn't handy but was easier to get at than that! New multi-V belt too, while it's all off?
-
Thanks everyone.
The rear tyres look proper, what are they from ??
Really not sure, but maybe fronts from a UH Deutz TTV.
sweet mr cranston, thats just superb, who did you get the decals of then??
Made the myself with laser waterslide paper. Looking at the pics I haven't cut them out too well and I've just stuck that curling corner back down.

I must be getting old - still have the 50ex brochure as considered one against a forklift in 1994!
Marky must be getting worried these days as UK's MF brochuremeister.![;D](//dmikppnxtkspw.cloudfront.net/emoticons/default_grin.gif)
