Nigel kept that very quiet - but certainly does look a bit tasty

As everyone has said, very interesting pics of some great equipment - I used to work with anchor cables that size so those machines are working hard.
3 & 4,000 acre fields must get a bit boring after a while...
-
hi andy it is a shame but certain people will allways do this. would be nice to keep them for a little while though dave dbp
Just got mine today! Great model - I won't be selling, but there's always someone after a fast buck.

the MF590 or FORD 6600 that was full of mud & dust 90% of the time & working in all weathers with the back windows open ?
My 590 never was, Marcus
But I think it's more the drivers attitudes rather than the farmers.
Now I am not a professional tractor user, but from the articles I have read the computers part of the 3000 and 3600 were actually pretty reliable considering they were pretty much the first in the market.
But it does beg the question, what will be the yard scrapers of 2020?
I agree - the 3000s were extremely reliable but relatively simple.
Anything that doesn't have electronics (including combines) is fair game for export at the moment - look at the trade in NH 8070s. So there may be nothing left to scrape with.

Another Agco with the Sisu deisel
-
Not too shabby at all
I used one for several years - reliable machine.
-
These are nice...not the cheapest, but have reflector cast in lamp. A selection of bases/spigots too.
-
That looks like a very tidy model indeed. Looking forward to the outside pics.
-
Nice model! I can see 1/87 taking off now.
-
Excellent models again, BOR - a bit different from the norm as well.
-
Here we go again - another cracker.

There's a bunch of old boys who walk round the farm every few days - 5 years ago there were 6 of them, a real cheery bunch who would always stop for a blether about the farm etc.
Only one this morning as two died this week........
-
Realising that after not being on here for about 6 weeks, I'm never going to catch up on 'unreads'.
;D

Glad I came back to the forum otherwise I'd have missed this
Lovely looking models. At this rate a few conversions I intended to do won't need to be done.
-
What a varied life you lead, Mart. Interesting stuff.
-
Thanks for the pics, Marky.
Some brilliant layout there...often wonder what the total man-hours would be tied up in them all.
-
Just had a catchup here Gav - all good stuff.
Way too dry for spud lifting up here too - nothing going up the webs but the damage appears minimal
-
Brilliant! My first post for months and got LF, MJB and TM810 in one go
I was merely stating what everybody including Bill must've thought but were too afraid of the monstrous power the Lord of the Fergusons can wield on this forum - apart from that I do like shiny red paint. (Like the trailer)
;D
-
You've been busy Marky.
That nice new wee trailer sort of makes the 240 look a bit dull...........

They are all very smart indeed, but the folding model is particularly well thought out and made.
-
Very tidy, Mark
I like the thoughtful touches like the manifold colour and decals
-
We're hoping to get there again this year too, definitely looking forward to it.
-
I suppose I would buy 1/4 of the NH CR 9090 when it arrives.

Plough through several pages of unreads.

Smashing pics, Jez. Did wonder why in one of the early photos, it looked as if the Volvo was pulling a trailer.![;D](//dmikppnxtkspw.cloudfront.net/emoticons/default_grin.gif)
