Tidy Sean
Looks like a real fiddly build - are you taking the timber off to paint it?
-
Thanks for the update Atte. Did you write your website yourself? If so, nice job.
-
Very smart model. Just a shame that the booms are only suitable to make a Lemken
-
Some nice kit there - the TX32 is in great condition. Is it 15 ft?
-
Unless it's been looked after, something in the breakers may be as bad?
I had the same problem with the 3065 and MIG'ed a new sheet on the bottom as the frame wasn't bad - nobody has spotted the join yet.
-
That looks very well, SL - look forward to seeing it with the flail on.

Well I really want to get this game, just still not sure if the graphics card is good enough for it?
Anyone know or have a similar system? I did send an email to TriSynergy but who knows when I will hear back.
The sooner, the better
I've had a lot of calls recently because of PC's with decent processors, plenty RAM and diskspace, but crap graphics systems - nobody checks this when buying a PC. Games in general work a PC hard especially the graphics processor.
The X300 is a pretty bottom end chip - so I think you may have problems or slow refreshes. If you want the game try it and if your graphics card is not up to it, you'd have to buy one anyway.
The specs given are minimum so for decent operation I'd suggest a 6800 with 512Mb would be better anyway.

UH Nuffield Universal Four 1/16, been waiting ages for someone to produce some Nuffield models, certainly not disappointed with this one
;D
Front wheel conversion next, Gav?

He must've seen the Royal Engineers putting that Scorpion tank on four pint glasses.
-
Your usual high quality work Thomas - very nice indeed.
-
Very nice bit with the pigs there - they'll have holes dug in the baseboard in no time.
-
The A1 is blocked at Dunbar and is pretty iffy here - haven't seen a plough or gritter yet.
-
Another 3 - 4" last night here too, also 5 days since temperature rose above freezing.

I had a 3085 32 speed for about 5.5 thousand hours (1992 )and it never missed a beat after initial fuel problems. I also had a 399 which was a good enough puller but basic with no 'dual power' or other electrics and given your other tractors would be a backward step. 399 had a very limited lift even with 2 assistor rams and struggled with a 4f KV E160 plough.
If the 3000s have front fenders that cuts down on electrical problems as it's water ingress under offside floor that causes problems.
The only reason I changed the 3085 was because I needed more power and don't like turboing.

Went to Fife today +2 hardly any snow, came home to -3 and white and slippy as ever.

My car has not turned a wheel since Thursday lunchtime... can you come over an sweep the snow off the top for me then Gav please.. it's too cold outside for me
How did you find that thing of yours in the snow?
-
Nice job, Murray - full range next?
-
Our 80' general purpose sheds have 600mm uprights and trusses not much less, 6m apart.

Tidy, Gav
Did Bailey do a mechanical rear door? That would be about that era.
-
I like the ladder on the side of the Massey
-
Having to stop 6-7 times on the way to work to chuck snow on the windscreen because me washers never defrosted!!!
Oh and some young idiot rear ending some one else because they wanted to get where they were going just that few seconds quicker. Resultant tail back was v. long.
Similar today for me - people that can't drive on ice/snow.
-
That's a nice job Ziko. It looks like it's going fast even when standing still
-
As above but how about someone kneeling on one knee - could be greasing a machine, fencing or planting.
Bending over legs apart could be clipping, changing a wheel, shoeing a horse...
Separate arms at different angles would be cool.
Personally I prefer with no base - I drill a hole in the foot and put a brass pin in - so a pre cast hole would help.
-
Was it easy to do ?
How are the wheels fixed onto the axles
Not too difficult, the wheel is held on by a steel knurled pin which grips a hole in the stub axle - tight, but pulls off. The blue 'hubcap covers the pin's head.
Well, that's your warranty now void!
is there any wobble/slack now having reduced the support? In appearance it is an improvement of course
I guess Imber won't take them back now.
By carefully pushing the pin back in, the wobble can be lost without stopping the wheel from turning.

Years ago one of the fertiliser manufactures were offering those at a subsidised price, but never seen anyone actually using one.....![:)](//dmikppnxtkspw.cloudfront.net/emoticons/default_smile.png)
