  1. Ok guys, Maybe around june July time me and a few buddies and neighbours are thinking of taking a mini bus from up here down south to see how farming is done down there, maybe would like to tie it into wonter barley cutting time maybe, Anyways what i'm asking for is some contact details of any of you who would be willing to spend a short amount of time seeing around your farm or know of any big farms that would be worth seeing i'd be very gratefull of some contact details and locations etc. . . Any suggestions post away here or/and PM me Many thanks Ricky
  2. when changing our 6620 to the 6930 we reckoned, want power - buy power, Its like a man told me one time, quit messing about with car engines etc. . . want a fast car? Buy a fast car. plain and simple. so dad bought the M3 now the M5 ha ha
  3. you might find that 64 WILL go bang it will have a very short lifespan, it is just simply not designed to cope with that power, also you will need 4 injectors within a very short period of time
  4. Deeres new numbering system take me to the fair I reckon in 2030 the numbers on tractors will be more like barcodes!!!
  5. Surey the newest type pickup cannot be thought of as inadequate, Considerind no matter the implement being towed no more than 3/3.5tonne downward force is permissable on the hitch.
  6. Being told Grampa took to hospital, Blocked arteries in his neck. Gives u the totally helpless feeling and angry could demolish everything in sight
  7. ya without wire it'll wear a little quicker i think but nothin serious
  8. A skilled driver will be able to keep the bucket an inch from the ground!! We have wire in our brush why's it not reccomended? incase it gets into the grain maybe?
  9. See the wee square thing ontop of the motor, rip it off, And put on a flow restrictor, then it'll work fine, just DON'T change oil flow direction rapidly =snap shaft or chain wee square thing lets the oil avoid the motor in tough going (its meant to prevent breaks in sudden change in oil flow) My deeres driving the nc brush would not lift arms while driving (I had flow restricted on tractor spools) but when i done as said above with inline flow restrictor worked fine, as motor can only cope with 60litre a min oil flow max i think from memory Stephen you'll wonder how you managed before without it!!!
  10. No, I think metal box, Nearin lunchtime put in a few bits of grub, Hey presto she'll cook the food!! OVEN!!
  11. ha ha! It longer than the rest but i'd like to think they've got over that hurdle by now
  12. The autopower box? Just to tick that box when ordering and you shall have, oh and a few thousand £ too ha ha! Exact same spec 66 as this 65 is £2750 extra, Would be very well spent in my eyes
  13. im lost on the big m, 5 swards? how wide?
  14. are there even swards in that field More grass on my front lawn!!
  15. ditto except with me credit card, now, I had flights booked on it, but the payment has been canceled by the bank, but i look up my bookin ref and all is still booked and no emails arrived concerning, Have I just got free flights or should a ring up and explain ha ha!?
  16. No idea this ones sitting @ £60k Yea 100 horse maybe 110 but in a 6 so you'd have had more torque than a 4 pot
  17. The 65 and 64 are the same engine, this 6534 is the 1st deere have with 4pot in a 6 chassis all previous 65's 6500 6506 6510 6520 +6530 are all 6cylinders unless i missed something ha ha!. I THINK the early 65's were straight 6's then later they turboed them?? In my opinion, if you need power you by a 6 cylinder, if you dont you buy a 4 cylinder, but if you need balence and not power this is what deere are trying like the valtras/valmets but to me screwing this much horse from a 4 pot is sensless buy a 66 and she'll last longer i reckon
  18. No way If and when it'll be a 6630 on 650 rears ha ha Its exactly the same size as the 66-68+69 only with a 4pot power plant. I made deep tracks turning on this bit, I knew i'd be stuck, If it'd been my 69 she'd have sunk deeper! Found out today that pond in background, the soill from it was piled where i dropped, hence the soft deep damp soil = no hard bottom hence chain required ha ha! Its an autoquad (6 main "normal" gears 4 in the splitters) auto means u can have the splitter 4 automatic but the main ranges are clutch + make yer arm do a bit of work ha ha
