  12. That's not just in Norfolk, i work for an electrical connector company Deutsch who have lots of dealings with JD/Renault and at the minute there are big problems if you know what i mean without saying too much.

Is it me or are Fendt tractors starting to take over Europe Being a ford loving tractor boy perhaps i have tunnel vision and need to remove my head from the clouds But nearly everyone i speak to seems to be buying Fendt's at the minute even the once a John Deere owner always a John Deere owner seem to purchasing them. Whats going on Are they as good as all that

I sold the same set not as good nick about 18 months ago :(when the item was not fo sale just display at a local model fair) but this dealer twisted my arm to let him have it for 250 quid i was reasonably happy although may well be worth more, yours looks in better nick than mine was. Great set though.
  17. Yeah both had original cabs with slight yellowing but that always adds to the character i think , the average rate i have found has been 6600 = 34gbp & the 5000 = 29gbp.
  18. Hang about this forum i have set up must be changing things, just sold a 6600 for a mere 26GBP & a 5000 went for 44gbp. Whats going on ??? Does anyone own the 1963 version of the Super Major??

  23. Hi, Does anyone out there have any ideas why the Ford 6600's are worth more money than the earlier 5000 (square mudguard version) with virtually the same castings, doesn't make any sense to me i would have thought the older models would be worth more?
