  14. Small cardboard boxes, wrapping paper, ducktape, new stereo for the vw r32, Swedish house Mafia cd, and a fibre optic crimbo tree, girlfriend and one of the other secretaries in the office moaning about there being no Christmas spirit in the office,
  15. Gave the js145w a rest today as I've hit a rather boggy area, so a jz140 was brought in, and moved another container onto site, and brought a manitou forklift onto the job as the farmers manihoe is a piece of s**t
  16. More digging, spreading of hardcore and a wee game of darts in the canteen with a couple on my employees and a few water main installers, obviously I won, also found out a steel container makes a bit of a mess, now I've hit rock in the trench, need to get a ripper tooth forn the js145w,
  17. I find with jcb you get a lot more for your money, for example I could go into the dealership tomorrow and order a 2012 plate 3cx sitemaster, quickhitch, 4 buckets and a few optional extras for around the £56000 mark, whereas with caterpillars equivalent model, you pay 4 grand more for the machine, pay extra for attachments and all the other stuff by then your easily 2 or 3 grand more, also jcb have a great after sales service, something goes wrong and a mechanic could be on site with in 2 hours, whereas other companies could be 2 days, and that's why I think smaller companies prefer jcb fast and reliable service and they appreciate there customers, quality built machines that last for ages,
  18. Us scots don't moan about the snow, we are designed with built in 4wd, gets abit of a struggle when it 5ft deep but hey ho, that's what shovels are for
  19. More testing of the js145w today, digging a trench for a new water main, easy digging as it goes through a couple of fields, spreading some more hardcore, then took the js145w round to a pals and stripped his lawn for a larger driveway, thinking the js could be a keeper
  20. workbench at the yard, currently has two britains jcb 3cx's awaiting the chop, just something to do while its quiet,
  21. Have bought loads from him in the past, great quality models, wouldn't mind another set myself, got 2 3cxs my self but only one set of buckets,
  22. there's a few on eBay at the moment, chris irwin has got this set on at the moment, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/britains-jcb-3cx-excavator-digger-with-hammer-compactor-ripper-4-in-1-bucket-new-/170946932317?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item27cd3b2e5d Also this set http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRITAINS-JCB-3CX-BLACK-CAB-WITH-QUICK-HITCH-AND-4-BUCKETS-/160921661357?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item2577adafad Britains never made the 3cx with the additional attachments, all the different attachments are hand made, and well made, got a set of buckets my self and I am really pleased with the quality of them, try BSB plant or c irwin,
  23. Just off the phone to a local farmer offering me a chance to buy a newish wood chipper which he bought to heat the chicken sheds which vion own, but due to there current economical status he will no longer be doing the chickens, which means he won't be needing the chipper, problem is he paid £1.5 million 3 months ago, for it, told him I couldn't afford it, and he should go into bio mass, and hire a load of forklifts off me for giving him a great idea,
  24. na, it was either get him to do it or get a company in to do it for twice the price, plus, I could do with a pint aswell so it give me a reason to have one,
  25. No there wasn't, but hotel security checked CCTV, caught the number plate, matched it with a resident and I have had a nice chat with the person who done it and my wallet is now £250 heavier than when I left home, brother says he can get a new one for £110 and respray the door for £50 and a pint
