  1. Drove down to Glasgow too look at a to look at a hitachi tracked dumper fitted with a hiab, which will hopefully be arriving some point next week, will be getting used for fencing jobs, then back to the office going through a stack of paper work, then organising for one of the low loaders to get a respray, happy days!
  2. Done abit of drainage with the jcb 8018, then home, washed the birds car now sitting on my ar@e twiddling my thumbs
  3. Trying to plough, that part of the field has always been a bad spot, always remember walking though it when I was a kid, had to lift the plough off, the plan is to dig away the earth at the angle the tractors sitting at, put some hardcore/ballast down then hopefully, drive or pull her out,
  4. Seem like there's quite a lot of farmers getting there equipment stuck in the mud, here's one of today's agri recoveries It will take a 4cx, a js145 and a tonne of swearing to get her out
  5. sorry forgot to take photos this morning, eventually managed to pull her out with the 936 and the farmers 820,
  6. Sat in the office, making paper aeroplanes and trying to throw them into the shredder, then got a call from a farmer saying he'd sunken his combine while cutting the last of this years wheat, got the fendt 936 rigged up to the low loader and put the js 130 on, trundled up the road behind some one on a bike, then started digging round the rather sad looking claas, right down to its belly, in a rather wet looking "hole"
  7. Finding out my new vans coming sooner than I thought, just to wait on the sign writers and I pick it up on Thursday, happy days
  8. Thought about getting the tracked one and converting it into a mobile crusher/ screening plant, would be pretty awesome. Turn this Into one like ours
  9. Very true, anyone outside of britains hq who claims to know the "new" models should share these models with there fellow farm toys forumers, and if they don't, they just simply don't know
  10. To be honest, if they don't tell, they don't know, found that out today with the mechanic,
  11. Chopping, shredding and shifting fallen trees, and ran after a £20 pound note, got the first scratch on the 4cx
  12. Finding out that the company that has had 2 diggers on hire for the past 4 weeks has gone into administration and there will be no money coming in from them, looks like no pub for me this week
  13. would need a high trailer or a decent spreader, like the idea of the rising cab, bring bag the skip lorry and maybe make a roll on roll off lorry and could have a recycling grab on jcb, all these models open up new ideas for new models, i wonder if britains actually listen to what ftf wants?
  14. Took delivery off our first 4cx, then said goodbye to 2 08 plate 3cx's, 4cx shall be mine and no worker shall have the opportunity to get it dirty
  15. Maybe a jz235 (best machine I've driven), js130, full range of buckets, hammer, demo/ sorting grab, nice nc dump trailer, the list shall go on
  16. Had a meeting with the financial man today, if all goes to plan we will be starting agricultural contracting in the new year, got some drainage done for the auld Fermer up the road as well,
  17. All that's needed now is a grey fergie,
  18. Poured the floor off the new workshop, due to go up next week, then washed half the fleet for a photo shoot for next years catalog, depressing times then the pub with the lads for a well deserved pint(s),
  19. never noticed a problem with it tipping, even with it sitting at full reach with its bucket full it sits well, possibly one of the best purchases yet
  20. Collected a new jcb 3cx from the local dealers, it was an ex demonstrator with 1500 hours on the clock, hadn't realised that there was a like new breaker coming with it, also got a shot of the new jcb jz235, leveling a new piece of ground at the back of the yard, enjoying using the zero tail swings now, we now have 8 ranging from 3 tons to 25 tons, crackin machines and no worries about scratching the paint job
  21. seen a few contractors driving job to job like this, but there not as large as those ones and arent being towed by a tracked tractor,
  22. Good show this year, weather was cracking, seemed a lot bigger and busier than previous years, sorry no photos, some numpty forgot the camera
  23. Will make it on Sunday, having a spot of trouble with fendt 936s brakes, well lack of brakes and fendt won't come out to fix it until Wednesday next week, have a feeling Sunday could put a dent in the wallet as ba toys is going to be there this year,
