  1. If thats the only trouble you have with it then you've done very well, she is about 24 years old after all said and done
  2. Cheers Mark I've only ever driven a 2850 and 3650 so used to the little lever
  3. Looks good Simon Is she a Power Synchron model as I can't see the little lever near the gear sticks, or is it located elsewhere on the 40 series?
  4. There may be a few other pictures on here after Wednesday
  5. Already onto that one my flippered friend Even if it could run on red doing that job normally in this case it wouldn't be able to due to the distances the tractor would be travelling
  6. What good would you be at that job for the Norfolk branch of the business..........you don't know anyone up this way :D :D
  7. Oi I'll have you know thats all muscle in there :D :D I have to say that I was quite impressed with how much it could put into a bale, you could see the pressure building up on the plastic bale as the whole door was moving during the compacting process :o
  8. Think my Sister regrets taking an ex RAF man on where she works, he's driving her mad! She's the parts manager at a large accident repair centre locally and he's supposed to be her assistant but he's already tried moving things about in her stores only to be told in no uncertain terms to put them back. She's been in that department for nearly 10 years now so although she's only 26 (he's 40) she knows it inside out.........this guy is heading for trouble, never get on the wrong side of my Sister :o :o :D
  9. I would imagine it was Lister's Jez
  10. I don't know where you heard that but it's incorrect, it's actually gone to Cambridgeshire to SR and CA Haylock http://www.srhmachinery.co.uk/files/stock/homepage.htm
  11. It's far too early for it to be flowering really, one really cold spell and it'll be the end of it, the flowers will die off and there'll be no pod set, there's no bees about yet to help with pollination either
  12. KIWINZ can have one for that
  13. hmmmmmm I can smell something here :D
  14. Running out of silicone.......only needed about another 100g to finish the mold properley as well >
  15. Sorry but I seem to remember that here was a bit on the end of the job advert saying "No Hobbits" :D
  16. Does sound good Tris, he asked me if HGV driving was something that interested me and I said yes which seemed to go down well as at he minute they have to get a relief driver in as no one else wants to do it, the same applied to hedge cutting which interested him as no one else likes it
  17. Thanks, I think it went well myself, seems like a very nice chap and an excellent place to work. 3000 acres with 3 blokes and one HGV with a full time driver as well, each bloke has their own tractor, mine would be a JD 6920 Auto power if I got the job
  18. Been for a job interview this afternoon, should know if I've got it by the end of the week so fingers crossed
  19. Wasn't actually in Diss, was a place called Weybread not far away from it, the Crown Chicken plant. We tend to avoid Diss itself like the plague if we can :D
  20. Delivering oil again, first drop near Diss then down Ipswich way to Great Blakenham, Chattisham, Elmsett continuing towards Essex for one drop just over the border near Halstead then back to Bury St Edmunds for the last drop, yet another long route for me especially with the dreadful driving conditions earlier
  21. Delivering oil around the Kings Lynn, Peterborough and Huntingdon areas and applying for a job on a local 3000 acre farm
  22. I wouldn't pay ?10 for that myself, each to their own I guess \
