  1. I bought one of the UH Massey Ferguson 6290  models yesterday,

I did a little modification so as to improve it slightly,

I painted the rims Sapphire Grey

Switched the tyres for Valtra T tyres

Removed the rubbish front linkage (it did fold up which would be nice on they're other Massey's!)

Added a driver to the cab

Added a set of weights from the UH 5480,

The cab doesn't look too bad its the bonnet that ruins the models for me it really takes away from it,

    Anyway here's a few pictures,

    Thanks for looking,

    Any comments much appreciated!

  2. awwwwww Jack this is why I was sent home early from work when I see this at lunch time I made a mess :D I love it and want it now.

Awh I hope you didn't make too bigga mess,

I'd say the boss won't have been too happy ::)

hey jack what wheels are on? looks the part

I think the rims are off a UH Claas836 and the tyres & mudgards are off a UH MF5480

Spot on! I think this combination really sets the model off...

very nice bob,i love the flex to the beacon, clever touch

I like to add my own personal touch so its not just the same old stuff on everyones display,

    Looks fantastic.

Jan MF and i did also it like this way!

Only i used the tyers of a Claas Celtis from UH, not from the MF 5480.

Keep the conversions like this coming!

    Kind regards Johny ;)

    Thanks Johny,

I must admit I did use you and Jan MF as inspiration,

You do have lovely stuff yourself and that is my aim also to build up a unique collection of models!

So watch this space as I've more planned when I get a chance!

  3. I have done a little tweaking to this model,

I must admit the wheel combo I spied on here and thought it looked ace so it was a no brainer!

I have a few more details I might add to it still but it is more or less finished,

It could possibly do with being re numbered but that can be done in due course,

    Any comments greatly appreciated
