Thanks Bob,
I may get a CCTV camera set up hidden keeping an eye on my cabinet

Beast Jack.
Looks great, Jack_c. Very good conversion.
Regards
Thanks, Just small changes but makes a difference

Thanks Tris!
I just use my Sony Ericsson mobile phone for the pictures,
I find it takes a better picture close up than the digital camera, The lighting must be good which is why I try to take the pictures outside when possible
It also has the added benefit that I can upload them directly to photobucket from my phone and send them to the computer via Bluetooth

Looks good Jack, the cab doesn't look right at the back at all, bit of a shame really
Thanks,
Yeah its a pity, I'm really hoping the Massey Ferguson 390 etc will look good,
-
Thats a great looking trailer, alot of detail in it
Cheers!

Thanks Paul,
I think the bonnet flattens off too much at the top,
The real thing is more sloped,
And also the front grill looks too square I think, It looks ok though

I bought one of the UH Massey Ferguson 6290 models yesterday,
I did a little modification so as to improve it slightly,
I painted the rims Sapphire Grey
Switched the tyres for Valtra T tyres
Removed the rubbish front linkage (it did fold up which would be nice on they're other Massey's!)
Added a driver to the cab
Added a set of weights from the UH 5480,
The cab doesn't look too bad its the bonnet that ruins the models for me it really takes away from it,
Anyway here's a few pictures,
Thanks for looking,
Any comments much appreciated!

One of those heaters could be coming my way soon,
Purchased 2 glass display cabinets that I seen on Gumtree last night so will give them a clean and start to get them filled

awwwwww Jack this is why I was sent home early from work when I see this at lunch time I made a mess I love it and want it now.
Awh I hope you didn't make too bigga mess,
I'd say the boss won't have been too happy
hey jack what wheels are on? looks the part
I think the rims are off a UH Claas836 and the tyres & mudgards are off a UH MF5480
Spot on! I think this combination really sets the model off...
very nice bob,i love the flex to the beacon, clever touch
I like to add my own personal touch so its not just the same old stuff on everyones display,
Looks fantastic.
Jan MF and i did also it like this way!
Only i used the tyers of a Claas Celtis from UH, not from the MF 5480.
Keep the conversions like this coming!
Kind regards Johny
Thanks Johny,
I must admit I did use you and Jan MF as inspiration,
You do have lovely stuff yourself and that is my aim also to build up a unique collection of models!
So watch this space as I've more planned when I get a chance!

Also a little picture of it hooked up to the 16x8 Johnston trailer I made,
-
I have done a little tweaking to this model,
I must admit the wheel combo I spied on here and thought it looked ace so it was a no brainer!
I have a few more details I might add to it still but it is more or less finished,
It could possibly do with being re numbered but that can be done in due course,
Any comments greatly appreciated
Thanks for looking

Thanks Jamie,
I definately agree with that Paul,
The right set of wheels/tyres can completely transform a Tractor!
