Nice looking trailer, not a breed that i've come across anyone owning over here in the Valley, Looks good though
This is made by a small engineering firm not far from me,
They are pretty comman around my area but I'm not sure about elsewhere,
They are a nice light trailer for our wet land
-
Yeah I managed to find it ok in the end,
A friend had seen it and let me know about it,
Thanks by the way, I've more on the way if everything goes to plan
-
I managed to source some sheet material,
Thanks again for the nice comments!!
The ROS/Imber 6640 would be a better bet.
I think a nice Massey Ferguson 399 or a 4270 would look the part!
I've a smaller 13x7 trailer in progress that the 390 would look very well on

Would be a fierce load in that trailer for a 390, she'd be under pressure on the hills
It would be a tight pull alright,
A few extra hp wouldn't go amiss
-
Thanks for all the positive feedback,
The plan is to make more of these in the near future,
Donnelly and Woods also,
-
nice trailer..
Thanks

Lovely model. The corrugated side panels look really smart.
Very nice Jack
Cheers
Good comments makes it all worth while,
Now hopefully TM190 will have the JF 1050 ready soon
-
Smashing model.
Thanks!
Very pleased with the results!
Makes the hard work pay off haha
Looking good Jack not many of them about would look well on the UH 390
As long as its a Massey Ferguson

This is something I've had on the cards for a very long time now,
Off for Christmas so decided to crack on...
This took alot longer than expected but I'm very pleased with the results,
Hope you like,
All comments welcome
Thanks!
Will get better pictures up tomorrow,- 1

False alarm,
Its now mid January according to masseyshop.com
-
So did anyone get a glimse of the Massey Ferguson 390 yet?
What's the verdict?
Any pictures?
-
That is a very tidy job!
Its a credit to you,
The detail is very good!
-
It would be just general work,
Mainly field work
fertiliser spreading,
Rolling
Topping
etc
Very little road work
Biggest fear would be that she would be too light for wide tyres and leave no grip,
-
Cheers,
Felt like a pratt when I realised haha
-
Can a moderator also please correct the title,
Thanks

Have just bought a Massey Ferguson 3635 thats on Lawn tyres,
The plan is to get a set of rims and agri tyres,
My question here is what are people's opinion with regards width
I think the tractor sits at around 3 tonne?
Was considering 440 front 540 rear or do you think this is too wide in comparison with the weight?
Any suggestions welcome,
Thanks in advance
-
The problem is its a second hand tractor we've bought,
At present it has the standard type ends but we are in favour of the hook type,
The tractor in question is a 2009 Massey Ferguson 3635 so very unlikely to get full arms,
It wouldn't be doing any seriously heavy lifting so hopefully if prep properly etc it should be ok?
-
This would be more appropriate for British Farming forum but I don't have a paid email address
Hopefully the brains on here will be able to help,
I want to change the standard ends on a tractor to the quick attach hook type,
I have an arc welder but was wondering which rods should I be using for this job?
Also would the pieces need to be pre heated before hand?
Thanks in advance
-
That's a brave amount for a damaged tractor,
Hope for whoever bought it it goes together nicely
-
Thats a lovely wee transport box Mandy,
Who is that made by?

Awh now we can't be harsh like that
Wouldn't think it would have been part of the product design specification,
1.1: Must be able to withstand a rough operator driving too fast,
1.2: The trailer must be able to withstand the forces involved when the drawbar sticks into the tarmac lifting the full trailer off the ground
haha
Thanks
Just need a JF 1050 precision chop harvester to make a nice outfit...
Now I wonder where I'll get one of those
