  1. Cheers Justin, i'm glad you like the collection so far ....... though i know your looking forward to me finishing my Deluxe cabbed 4600 The crush just sort of happened really. I think it was one of Andy's spares and he didn't need it so he offered it and the rest is history......... I'm a welder/fitter too, prepping chassis and doing chassis mods and hydraulic work for tanker manufacturer Crossland Tankers..... not direct link to agriculture but with help provide solutions for transport of one of agriculture's daily products..... Milk Andy has done some larger scale livestock equipment, and a bit more in 1/32nd, there be pics on his website www.classic-combines.com
  2. Some collection you've got yourself there David......... good job they aren't all 1/16th....... you'd need a 2nd house to store them all in
  3. Aye your memory serves you well there Bill, it was at Kittochside that i also first saw the fine work of Mr Sewell.... though it took me until 2007 to bite and commit to my first purchases. Kittochside was also the place where the first two RJN's were purchased...... The New preformance Super Major and a Nuffield 4/60. Sounds like article might be a plan Bill
  4. Cheers Will, there still a couple of trailers and a spreader to post up yet........... It took me a while to convince myself that collecting Andy's models was the right thing to do, but now i wish i'd have started sooner rather than spend a heap of cash on a shed load of Britains, Siku and UH that some never saw light of day since the day i bought them
  5. Lastly...... (for now) A little diversion from the 1/16th topic but still from Andy's stable is this 1/32nd scale cattle crush, which is a little bit different from Andy's usual 1/16th models..... ...... there still another half dozen of Andy's models to come, but now i'll post up a few more tractors
  6. ..... and getting hitched up for a day sawing up a bit of firewood plus a couple of close ups......
  7. Next up, Andy's single bale spike, and a rather sentimental model of a Browns sawbench.......
  8. A couple more smaller items from Andy then i'll be back to posting a few more tractors..........
  9. ....... Andy included the drive belts and pulleys underneath the removable covers, and also included a set of flails too!
  10. Now on to a pair of PZ pasture toppers, both mounted versions, one a 3m in line, the other a 2m offset, the offset version found last year at York machinery sales, and added to Andy's portfolio to complement the 3m version..... But again there is more to these toppers than meet the eye.......
  11. ..... the Twose tranport box includes opening rear and also working sheep gate
  12. Next up out of the Classic Combines collection, are a Twose transport box, and a Thistlethwaite 10ft ballast roller, finished in Kidd blue.....
  13. And here attached to my Super major based Doe Triple D...... A few more of the implement collection to follow shortly
  14. Now back to a couple more of my Classic Combines implements....... a pair of Doe tools this time, a Doe 2 leg subsoiler and a Doe 7 tine cultivator, both bought to go along with my Doe collection,
  15. No problem Wil. Mmmmmmmm a 4000 with that Sirroco cab would make a nice addition to any blue collection
  16. I'm almost certain there is another G&M Dexta around the collection somewhere Jack, i think it'll most probably be a New Performance version..... but i could be wrong, i do remember buying a pair though so will have to have a hunt for the other one...... it's probably keeping my UH Roadless company I quite like the G&M Dexta's, it just hard to tell in comparison to a UH, which one is wrong.... the G&M seem a little big or are the UH a little small? price wise though you can buy a full set of the UH Dexta releases and have change compared to two of the G&M versions
  17. Aye Wil... Andy does do a 2 furrow reversible ..... it could be a Rumpstad
  18. A couple more pics of my RJN export spec industrial. Fitted with power steering, wheel weights all round, trailer air braking system and twin air tanks, front weights, engine side covers and export spec grill. It's also only got a drawbar, no pto or 3 point linkage fitted
  19. Next up.... back to a couple more of my RJN classics...... or a pair of Super Majors........ a standard 1963 New Performance and just to add abit of something thats abit different, an 1961 export spec industrial super.........
  20. Cheers John i'm glad your impressed by what i've posted up of my 1/16th stuff so far. ...... there still more to come as i get it out of storage...... it would be nice to have it all displayed in display units but it would require some serious space
  21. After seeing the impressive weathering job on your County 754, i think you'd do a great job on one of UH's 1455's Lee....... Hope you do bite the bullet and do one
  22. .... whilst hunting for my Roadless Dexta i stumbled across another 3 cylinder...... yep it's another Dexta, by G&M this time in Super Dexta format...... i'd almost forgot that i had this tractor
  23. Back to a couple of UH's standard 3 cylinders now, a '62 Dexta and a '63 Super Dexta....... mmm now where's that Roadless version dissappeared too ......... it must be around some where as i don't remember chopping it up!!
  24. Cheers Justin...... glad you like 7000 and Tarrup combo. You hit the nail on the head about the good old days though..... just short of the sound and smell of the 7000 exhaust, the smell of burning drivebelts as the Tarrup powers its way through a thick heavy crop and the smell of freshly chopped grass as a 4000 trundles about at full chat on trailer duties........ Pure Magic
  25. The doors are just sitting at the moment Sean..... when get some of the other bits and bobs finished i've a bit of time to re-visit the 7000 and do a bit more to it....like take the pto cover off to get the shaft to fit and fix the top link in place too
