  1. Happy Birthday Brian a.k.a Mr Softie, hope you have a good one bud........... mmm belated Birthday cake at Gretna me thinks i'll have a word with the cake baker about that!!!
  2. It's been a while since the Leylands and Nuffields were displayed Bill, so thought it'll be a bit of something different The big question will be if i can hire mum's JCB for the day...... having the Nuffield skid under it, it sort of fits in grand
  3. So far the collection is home to the following County's RJN P50 crawler (super major based) UH Super 4 (super major based) UH Super 4 (New performance based) UH 654 (pre-force) UH 654 (Pre-force Weathered) UH 754 (Force) DBP 754 with blade in yellow (on hire to the collection) (force) DBP 954 with Duncan cab in yellow (pre-force) DBP 1004 blue (pre force) DBP 1124 blue (force) DBP 1124 yellow (force) And after a chat to a likeminded collector........ there could be another addition coming soon
  4. There could be a little bit of "Bathgate Blue" as well Bill...... plus a handful sorry armfull of Andy's implements
  5. Well perhaps if i was to bring the full collection Bill..... a bit more transport capacity could have been useful, thinking of taking a selection of items rather than the whole nine yards..... Poppy orange might be a bit of a feature........
  6. ....... and now the 6Y trilogy..... the 7000 and previously posted 5000 and 4000, All thats missing is a 3000 and a 2000......... mmmmm that makes me think a couple of dexta chassis could be useful ....... I'm also hoping to post a similar line up of 7600, 6600, and 4600, when i get the 66 and 46 finished
  7. Now back to a couple more standard UH releases, in the shape of a 7000 and 7600..........
  8. Thanks Oliver, glad it impresses you.... though there still more to come!!
  9. Cheers Lee.... it would suit one of your weathering jobs!!
  10. ...... And the New Performance version hitched up to my RJN Ransomes 4 furrow plough, waiting for a day to go and have a play in the stubble!!
  11. Now back to a couple more Blues, that are getting toward the end of the County's in the collection...... (for now at least) A pair of UH County Super 4's in Super Major and New Performance Versions.............
  12. From memory the last Roadless in the collection, a 2wd Roadless conversion on an E27N Skid, by UH, The real tractors built for forestry use and Roadless converted some Long wheelbase Landys at around the same time to 4 equal sized tractor wheels, both vehicles had wider front axles to allow a bit of steering lock, but also so that the axles didn't drive on the same ground in bad conditions. Cuthbertson took the landy conversions a step further by adding tracks to each corner..... a rare beast nowadays. ........ come to think of it there should be Roadless Dexta hiding somewhere........ the Roadless chapter of the collection might not be over just yet!!!!
  13. And on to what could be the 2nd to last of my Roadless tractors, ( until i find that elusive RJN Roadless Super Major and the collection grows) This time a DBP Roadless 75, which is also the last DBP in the collection.........
  14. .... As Promised Mike, just for you..... a 1/32nd 154 and BMC mini, with their big brother
  15. Thanks Bazza There still alot more to come yet!!.... The collection just sort of happened way back when UH released the Power Major, a couple of Fergies followed soon after, but they were traded against some more blues. Then i bit the bullet ordered my first two models off Andy at Classic........ and got addicted. The rest is history as i kept it going to be a bit different to the majority of collectors...... although i still got a hell of a lot of 1/32nd stuff, but 1/16th the future for me!
  16. Thanks John, are you a bit of a Leyland fan at heart? ? Aye the idea was born after seeing a couple of 154's parked next to a fergy......... Kev then took a couple of pics and he delivered a box a couple of weeks later. It might not be 100% accurate but neither are UH!!!
  17. Ahhhhhhh now then Mike........... i can help you with that. Dave at Towse Trading does a 1/32nd 154 Leyland based on a Fergy chassis, and Ken Davies offers a Nuffield BMC 4/25 based on the same chassis. Both reside here in the Valley..... i take a couple of pics and post them up with their bigger brother
  18. Cheers Chris, thanks, didn't think there be too many takers as 1/16th a bit different.... just over halfway through the collection so i hope you like whats left to come
  19. I've never had the chance of a drive of an E27N despite there regular appearance at both uncles's workshops, though a P6 powered version was on dads wishlist for many a year....... maybe one day
  20. .... And here is the 154, alongside a UH Nuffield universal 4......linked on the family tree
  21. Now a slight change of shade of blue..... to another Leyland ...... a 154 this time, Based on a UH MF35x, converted by FTF member Tracterror or a.k.a. Kev.R.Stewart. built in 2009, to go alongside my Leyland collection to celebrate 40 years of Leyland tractors
  22. A pair of UH Fordson E27N tractors next up, one standard and one with alot more power , Seems fairly crude now compared to some of my later conversions but everyone starts somewhere ....... A couple of better pics of the V8 powered beast
  23. I'll make a start with that shortly Erik................
  24. Dan at Oranda Design also put his mud and rust wand over a UH Pre-force 5000, at the same time as the County 654, not taken as far as the Doe that was weathered to an inch of it's life, the 5000 just wanted to look like it had a hard life over the years
  25. Then a UH County 754 joined the ever growing fleet, so pictured here with the clean 654
