  1. Cheers Will, thanks In total there's around 25 models in my collection and one that's on loan that's owned by my mum, built by Andy.... and hope to add one or two more this year if all goes to plan with the man himself and his work load
  2. Funny you should mention a Howard spreader Bill...... there is one in my collection built by Andy that i've yet to post up glad the 7000 brings back fond memories for you from days gone by when a 7000 was deemed a big tractor!!
  3. ...... and then the harvester...... ready for a day chopping some grass
  4. And the pair together, first fitting the linkage spear....
  5. ....... and after seeing a prototype and having a chat with Andy.... as if by magic and a bit of a save up..... a Tarrup 1500 appeared in the collection and Andy didn't just make it look good on the outside....... it feature's a full set of flails underneath
  6. Next back to a bit of blue.... with a hint of red attached A UH ford 7000 with "air con" ( both doors cut out and rear lower window removed) to try and keep cool on those long hot summer days foraging This tractor would really suit a New Holland 717.... remove the front weights and add an additive barrel carrier and barrel...... but a 717 would take some building............. so then this 7000 needs a different forager to power.........
  7. ...... though i couldn't resist putting it on the Dowdeswell..... would look better with the 5th furrow
  8. A little break from some implements and back to a tractor or three!!....... The only red tractor in the collection..... a UH 1455 International, originally bought as a source of cheap horsepower..... but until a pto sorted it's of limited use
  9. Now to Andy's Dowdeswell plough. in 4 furrow format but with a bolt on 5th furrow ( that last furrow in build at the moment), plus a couple of close ups of the adjustable depth wheel and the wearing parts,,,,,
  10. A couple more pics of another of Andy's models to follow, then back on with a couple more of the tractors...... Photobucket dragging it's feet uploading again
  11. I do have some Veenweeks brochures somewhere Jack but glad it bring back memories for you...... i'll have to hunt them out as i seem to remember Veenweeks offering a slurry curtain attachment as well as dribble bars as extras on some of their larger and twin axle tankers, but times change, this tanker not a quarter of a modern day ones. 700 gallon nothing these days
  12. And ready to go and slurp a bit of slurry, hitched up to my UH based big booted 5000 although won't get too much work done........ forgot the pto shaft!!!!!
  13. Next up out of the Week's collection is a slurry tanker, originally a marketing agreement between Weeks and Veenhuis, allowed Veenhuis to sell Weeks trailers in Veenhuis livery and Weeks to sell tankers.......... This one has the addded hydraulic gate valve rather than the manual bar type along the length of the tanker top. Also it runs on slightly larger tyres, just to make it abit different
  14. It's in hand Sean...... Baler on the shelf, though a slightly newer version might appear in the future....... just the bales needed to match the chamber size in the baler, and be a good fit in the flat 8
  15. And the three bale trailers together, all i need now is a baler and some bales....... As it probably shows up to now that i've a bit of a fondness for Weeks trailers....... so far you have seen 5 and there's still a couple more to come in Week's other colour for trailers that they supplied........ Fergy Red
  16. ...... and also a Week's Retriver ( based on the Week's Labrador, and the Weeks Retriver brochure, but with wheels to the outside to lower the loading height) which made trailer number 5
  17. ...... Followed by Week's number 4, a Labarador, as the plus 40 wasn't big enough based on a recently restored example, found at Kirkby Stephen, by Andy and duly turned into model form
  18. Here we are photo's uploaded Starting with the 3rd Week's plus 40 trailer by Andy.... this time as a flat with front hay rack,
  19. Back to posting a bit more of the collection with a few more delights from Andy at Classic....... ........... as soon as photobucket gets it act together and uploads the pics!!
  20. The Roadless's in the collection so far............. RJN Roadless Super Major (New performance) RJN Roadless 6/4 (green and yellow) RJN Roadless 6/4 (Blue and grey) UH E27N Roadless (2wd) UH Roadless Dexta, DBP Roadless 75 Over the next few years there are a couple more that i'd like to add....... just have to wait and see
  21. Aye that's the rascal David... it featured in an old T&M years ago when they did a fleet profile on Wall's machinery. The pair together would make an impressive sight, both full size and in model form If only UH had a better/bigger 4wd front axle than the one on the Roadless Dexta
  22. Cheers Wil, thanks for your comments , i too have a few missing DBP's and RJN's to fill gaps in the collection, but there still alot more to come
  23. Your welcome bud There's quite alot hidden away down here in the Valley, David but unfortunatley i don't know the whereabouts of the real machine, though like you i know i'd love to see and hear this beast working rather than it being parked up in either rally field or shed. Aye it's definatley a small world...... and not just in model form either There is a 6 cylinder version with roadless axle under it belonging to Keiran Wall, Timber merchant/extractor that has been to a Rally or 2, i've seen that tractor diplayed at Pickering, Driffield and up at Helmsley, but don't remember taking any photo's of it. It might be a bit off-topic but it suprising what a photo can lead too!!
  24. I wouldn't say one is out of the question David....... the question is can i find the time with all the other convo's thats on going at the momment??
  25. Now then David..... funny that this has popped up. a project like this was thought about after doing the original V8 convo, I too have a picture of this tractor, taken at the Cumbria Steam Gathering..... approx 1990 but could be a year either way.........At the time i think i remember someone saying that this tractor lived in the Appleby area of Cumbria. Also residing down in the Valley amongst my 1/32nd collection is this beauty..... created by the late Dennis Goodburn.... and based on the very same tractor that we both have photograghs of. I bought this off Brian Holmes in 2001/2002 and was the first scaledown tractor that i ever bought.
