  3. Your right the 44 was a great tractor , it's funny if you park one beside a 6930 the 44 looks small now, but even our 7530 can't seem to do what I did with that tractor , I used to pull six furrows and have a front mounted furrow press it would give the 7230r a run for its money ,

We did have a 4650 here, wasn't mine when I started back in 1989 they bought me a new jd4455 then after that I had the 8100 my dad also drove a 4650 so I got to drive both of them a few times, would love to own one now, the tw was at my first job when I left school and and the other two were also tractors my dad drove so I got my hands on them too

  6. These were good old tractors good thread you got going here, I know of a 2720 that has spent most of its life hauling logs and still is today and has gone round the clock twice now with hardly any problems

  11. This is a great thread really enjoyed ready it congrats on you getting the job looks like you really deserve it bet you never stand still , with lots to do all the time , really like the old fergies 168 etc And the maize harvest I really miss that job , keep posting

  14. It's great reading through all the different threads, learning all sorts of stuff since I stopped collecting 6-7 years ago , didn't know they did a 1474 long nose, learning something new every day
  15. Started another picture thread of our kit, as I said I have tons of pictures I could post just don't want to go over board and cheese people off, so please tell me to stop posting them if that's the case, I'll see what the response is like before I add some more

  17. Sorry kinda of lost me there, the fergy duals look like the stock clamps in the real picture you posted and the model looks like its got skewer's for axles, sorry for sounding a twit , have seen either in the flesh

  19. Hi all I really like the look of the uh mf 8690 with duals all round haven't seen one in the flesh , what's going on with the axles looks like the axle pins are to long , or is it the pictures
