What's done with the wet straw then? Burnt at power plants, composted or something else?

Really really sad news to hear, without people such as Noel setting up the Moira forum I certainly wouldn't have found out about how many people are interested in this hobby.

Had a very enjoyable day at the Great Yorkshire Show on Tuesday, not been able to go since I was very little as it always clashes with school so was especialy good to go, even got talking to a few company's about some models
The day was rounded off nicely with a great tea at Murgatroids chippy on the way home

Sitting in some comfy long grass on a hill waiting for some chaps on bikes to go past very fast although I'm sure this isn't the right direction to go in to get to France

Finished school completely now so two months of holiday and model making ahead. Also finally recovered from 48 hours of sleep deprecation after the prom and after party, both of which were great fun.

Thanks, yes, I've got the parts cut for 2 more of these with the silage sides and another one half cut, then there are plans for two grain versions which I will get laser cut next week when im back in school. Also just started a Conor Engineering 1000 side spreader.

Not put any rams in yet Pat, they're next on the to do list but it will have ones on the back. If you look just under the screw for the back door there's a small peg sticking out to hold the door rams.

With time off over Easter I have finally got this up. Its looking a little cleaner now after a wash and the rain we've just had and abit straighter after I remembered to screw in the bottom two screws either side of the door. Just got to clad the walls on the inside now and I can move everything farm related in.

Looks cracking Sean, the tip angle seems fine, most muck would even start to slide out at that angle so a bit of cake or grain would be fine. As for a donkey Dave Twose makes a nice resin engine although it may be a little small http://www.britainstoyfarm.net/100460/info.php?p=9&pid=3157385&ack=9 or a scratch built Lister would look good too

Haha thanks Barry, while you had a pair of scissors we have a pair of laser cutters
No computer programing just drawing in the design to scale like you'd draw a picture on paint or publisher. At my school we use a program called techsoft 2d design to do this.
