Good man Stan, putting that trailer on the Ford is the best way to get rid of it ;D Although going in high 4th down the that steep hill would make for some better results, especially if there was a good solid wall for it to hit :P
I'm guessing 24 ton gross \ \
Been messing about straw carting most of today along with everyone else by the amount of tackle I saw:
McCormick MC115 with Quicke loader and trailer carting straw
McCormick MTX 140 and 40ft artic carting straw
New Holland TM150 and 38ft artic carting straw
New Holland 7840 with JD round baler baling wheat straw
MF 6180 and 38ft artic carting staw
MF 6485 carting straw
MF 590 and Fraser muck spreader
Ford 7740, Quicke loader and 26ft artic carting straw \
Case CX 100 and CX90 carting straw
Case 4240 with Greenland round baler baling wheat straw
Case 5150, Welger AP 730 and sledge baling OSR straw
Case 5150 and Grimme tattie harvester
Case Axial Flow 2188 and 2388
Laverda combine \
Case MXM 155 with Kverneland 5 furrow plough
Deutz Agrotron, NH baler and sledge baling wheat straw
Also saw a JD 6520 leaking gallons of oil in the yard we cart our straw through ;D
Bloody combine drivers, you've got a one track mind. You stop and leave great mountains of straw when you block it up, dump straw in great tramlines and merge your last headland swath with the swaths from the middle strips (my baler really hates that :'() :D ;)
Rant over, oh and nice pics CTS ;) :D
Nice blues Mart, ew can't beleive I just said that \ \ :D
The odd time I go hedgecutting, I always have the lights on and hazards when cutting on the road, just in case . It's such a slow and boring job though I avoid it at all costs ;D
The Claas 3400 is supposed to chuck out 120 balers per hour :o I'm sure you'll need more like 60ft of straw than 30ft to accomplish that amount of bales per hour \ \
I'm just luring them in to a false sense of security :
I was in a rush what else can I say, your the wizard of photograpy IHP, make them better, please :D :D
Valtra T150 with Fraser 16-ton and Case Maxxum 5150 with AS 16-ton both carting off a Case Axial flow 2188
Stupid little Deutz Agrotron with NH conventional baler and sledge, was baling straw in the same field as me and kept getting in my fookin way >
Been quite a good day, I hitched a ride on a mates JD 9420 artic with Gregoire Besson tinemaster, with He-Va roller and a Opico Variocast seeder, was drilling OSR. He didn't have to do much except listen to the radio and talk to me thanks to that JD starfire \ GPS thing, perfect bouts everytime :o
