  2. I tried getting some pics, but taking pics from the train wouldn't work. I think the tinted glass on them new Virgin trains was the problem, they all come out really blurry \ \
  3. I have a Gem demount and his newer demount Amazone:-\ version (the yellow and green one) with the larger booms, pics are on here somewhere if you want a look ;)

    what will i buy????

Bog off, I said it could be a one off. I know off other peoples Fords with the kangaroo clutch and the locking up gearbox so it can't just be ours. It's had an easy life with us, it's on the straw chopper through the winter and it's mainly baling and loading and carting bales back in the summer. It get's serviced twice a year with new filters etc so we do look after it a little bit It had a new hydraulic pump this year though after it blew it's seals and started pumping backend oil into the engine while mowing. Fix and Repair daily springs to mind ;D
  8. 3 and all Axial Flows 1 2188 and 2 2388, the local farmers teamed up together to harvest those sodden crops of 2004 I think it was ;)

    what will i buy????

If you get the Ford then you'll need a dealer aswell to recalibrate the clutch every week ;) Belarus, Irsus would all show the Fords show how to do it, would they not ;D

    what will i buy????

The Ford is still winning the vote :o Get the MF, seriously ;) A Case International 56 series is also a good and very solid tractor, a little old maybe but the power and torque is crazy ;)
  11. Looks good Gav, very good infact :o ;) If you make another or want to sell that one, give us a shout ;)
  12. I tried that first Mart The hole was a little on the large side, even for 2 bottles of the stuff \ \ We took the oil coolers off first to wash them out, getting them in and out is very tight and tricky with the hoses etc and we must have caught the main rad with one of the edges on the oil cooler, was in too much of a rush too get back to straw carting : The oat straw was a right bugger to bale, axial flow had combined it so was smashed to high heaven and we really struggled to pick the stuff up, it just kept rolling up and coming out the sides of the pickup : The dust was also a bugger, had to get out and clean the grills every now and then as the massey was getting red hot \ \
  13. Had a great storm yesterday afternoon, really persisted it down for a good 20 mins. I was carting straw down A38 and couldn't see a dam thing thanks to the rain being blinded by the lightning didn't help either :D . All the traffic slowed right down to 30mph and quite a few trucks had pulled in :o It even blew a manhole cover and lifted up the tarmac just up the road from us, the drains couldn't take it away fast enough, leaving me to play in the puddles and make lot's of bow waves in me tractor ;D ;D ;D
  14. Fixing me massey, some c u next tuesday put a wee hole in the rad while blowing oat straw dust out of it . Front linkage, air filters, oil coolers, the whole lot had to come out, just so I could solder it up >
  15. That's a kick on the balls ain't it Gav \ What do they say though, when one door closes another one opens :) Been in the straw again today, carting this morning and afternoon and then baled 15 acres of oat straw this evening :)
  16. Severn Trent digging up the road to fix burst water mains > They rip up the road on a blind bend with no lights then if that isn't bad enough they then make a slalom of taps, pumps etc in every manhole for about 2 miles > Was loads of fun bringing the artics through that every hour :
  17. What does the TX TC etc stand for ??? Is it Total Crap ;D
  18. The usual straw carters and balers along with a New Holland TC 56 combine closely followed by a JD 3140 and header trailer. First time I've seen a New Holland TC :o
