  1. what a fantastic choice of machine - the most accurate spreader on the market.  The only reason they have lost there popularity in the east is they spread upto 12m whereas most people do 24m in the arable sector.

Well over a million of these machines have ben sold in the past - theres nothing easier to use. ;D:)

  2. Did anyone go to scot grass? Are there any pictures?

It was a great day, sun shinning and luckily everthing went to plan! :) unfortunatly I didn't get time to get round - but I know there must be some great pictures about somewhere.

A lot of machines were launched there.

  3. Not a stripper header aka Shelbourne Reynolds - that utiliises plastic fingers on powered bat reeels, similar in principal to the roman vallus.

This depended on fricton of the spiral reel to snap off the heads.

Invented by the legendary tom Carrol.

Marky F - you should have a shrine to TC next to Harry F - he was the father of the Massey Combines!!

  4. I saw a stall at spalding with lorries converted to suit 1/32 farm models.

If I remember correctly a member on the forum converts lorries also (is it Rick?)

Im interested in sourcing a lorry to suit 1/32 to convert into a low loader, can anyone help me to source a make that produces one.

I know Britains make lorries but Im after a better/modern cab. :)

  5. i thought i had them all, but im now missing the atles 936 with duals and the atles 925. i only collect the 1/32 scale although the doe was nearly changing my mind. i dont bother with different boxes either, my plan is just to have one of each on display.

do you have a atles 925 gromittigger?

No but I am struggling to find one so I have written it off for now - I don't know how many were made but I 've only had 1 person say they have one.

they did show me a picture to confirm it.  So I have them all bar 1 then! ;D:D

The Renaults are causing me some stress due to the number of versions

This is a list another member sent to me

    1. Renault Atles 925 RZ, duals all around, Limited Edition in dealerbox

    2. Renault Atles 925 RZ, duals all around, Limited Edition in Dealerbox, Clubmodel A.C.A. , Flashlight in top of the cabine ( not done by UH), A.C.A. Sticker in the left upper corner of the styrofoam inlet.

    3. Renault Atles 935 RZ, singles

    4. Renault Atles 935 RZ, duals

    5. Renault Atles 936 RZ, singles

    6. Renault Atles 936 RZ, duals

    7. Renault Atles 936 RZ, singles, old bonnet, fronthitch with small stickers]

    8. Renault Atles 936 RZ, singles, old bonnet, fronthitch with no stickers

    9. Renault Atles 936 RZ, singles, new bonnet ( like Claas Atles), fronthitch with no stickers

The red ones I could do with more proof -  you can see another 2 Dual wheel tractors as a 925,  the sticker he is refering to is below on the linkage

I haven't included these yet as I like to see them or have many pictures to prove there not convo's etc, not saying they are but just to reasure me.  Gradually Im getting there for example the 936 with dual is confirmed. ;):)

so I got them all bar 4? I give up! :D;D:-\

  6. thanks for the pic, i'l have to keep my eyes peeled for one now, i think i'm as fussy as you gromittigger i want all the variations as well.

    Do you have them all?

I have every thing to date - I don't collect different boxes as I display them.  I've funded it by selling all my Britains but I only have two shelves left of the cheap stuff, I don't know what im going to do to fund it by the end of the year! :D:)

  7. I was going through Kings Models web site and saw that they are selling two version of the xerion - one pre a recall and one after. They seem to have recalled them to strengthen the axle (it states)

Is there a quick way to identify the early version to the current one without another to compare.

There taking advantage of this already by charging more for the pre modified ones.

Does anyone know any more regards this recall?  First i've heard of it ???:-\

  8. when we carry out demo's using a fastrac for big baling, you do find you need a lot of horsepower whereas we can use a lot smaller hp with a conventional tractor - no offence to JCB, its a great pulling machine but no good at pto work.

A customer I visited today with a big square tried it on a 140HP fastrac and it killed it, but he normally runs it on a 125HP Case quite happily.

The new Claas has been reported to need a lot more power for the chamber size compared with other manufacturers.  But this baler has been developed for high than expected outputs and good density which needs some serious power.
