  1. The one i converted i won on e bay for £20 as the rear hitch was broken and no mudgaurds.
  2. have just got back from my mates so will post pics 2 morrow along with what i did with the 84 wheels
  3. I have just finished a 8400 with a McCORMICK ZTX wheels on it and its mudgaurds. it looks good with them on it.

  5. I dont work full time on the farm now. I only get to work on my holidays as i am in the Army am base in gutersloh so only get to farm a couple of weeks a year now although most of my friends are farmers. One of my mates are the geddes so they have quite a bit of kit. You might have seen some of the cattle of the farm that i work at. if you see allan just tell him you were speaking to Peter that works for Jim Muirhead.
  6. i young allan works for Ian stirling who has a farm next to us we also do there silage wrapping for them. Allan senior has just bought a new Newholland to replace a fergie that always was in the workshop.

  8. ye its not far at all allan smith that tractor yo had a pic of has a few others we hire his dung spreaders and he used to work with us at the tatties.
  9. pitty would have been to get behind the wheel not long till i get behind the wheel only two month cant wait.

  11. we went from deutz to deeres we have never real had any big problems with any of them we have just traded in a 6410 we have had it a couple of years and we haven't real lost on the price we payed for it. If you ever go to nethertons if you go into jim carr's office you will see a couple of my conversions.
  12. Thanks for the pictures bill. thought my mate was joking when he said he had traded in his deere for a claas but by the first picture from sellars of the 640 he clearly has wait till I see him in the summer.

  16. martin think those tractors belong to sean smith the contractors they have also started selling them.
  17. ye thats what used to happen when we were carting of from the tattie harvester,one of the young lads had a shot and nearly put the elevator through the cab. when we were carting straw home used to disconnect the brakes. we still have a 12 ton bailey grain trailer and have never had the problem with that trailer.
  18. our bailey flat bed was like that as well bit of a night mare when you come to a junction. it depended on the tractor that was on it as how bad it was. we changed that trailer for martins favourite a Ronny Gardiner and it is better for braking with
