  4. i think you will pass me with the john deere conversions shortly it is a well rounded fleet all i am waiting on is you doing a 6910 or 6610 paul.

I used some wood that was 6mm wide by 30mm deep then got some stone affect paper from the local railway model shop looks about the right scale. thanks they were made by my father inlaw for me thanks for comment smallclass. i wish i had the space you have and not to mention the skill that you have to make lay outs

  9. i got the chain at a model shop it cost a couple of euros. you can get it from some of the online model shops
  10. the trailer was made by myself i am away to build another one so i am ready for the tattie lifting comp. for the display i have about 20 john deere bits of kit. 2xcombines,1x7930,2x7920,2x7530,1x6930,1x6430,1x6920s,1x6920,1x6820,1x6420s,2x6410,2xloadalls,1 large square baler,1 x round baler and 1x mower. on the way shortly will be a 6910 and a 2850.

  12. well last couple for now. the local john deere dealer(netherton tractors) poped down today to give both the farms balers a service before they get busy. next is the two new landrover bought for the fam. these will be used to move workers to jobsand also to pick up spares.
  13. the fert being unloaded by the new class loadall. had to find a replacement machine as john deere have stop making loadalls.also the 7920 with floats has returned after finished contract sewing. the 6420s doing a bit of top dressing
  14. next the old 7920 and dung spreader with the loadall of to do a bit of spreading for a little farm up the road. the 6930 returning with a load of fert for the farm.
  15. well whats happening on firhills. first the two 7530 are of to dundee docks to move bulk fert from the boat to the shed for storage for the local fert company next the 6920 away to deliver some bales to the stable up the road blank image links deleted
  16. well havent added much to this for a while so thought i would do a bit of an updateof whats going on at firhills. we have just had a new dry stone dyke built round the main yard
  17. i will get one of those in the future but if this goes to plan as much as your 7810 then you will have another great model.
  18. looking forward to this one paul wasn't a big fan of driving them but there was something about them when you saw them working.
  19. last one the 6820 rolling with the old farmer looking on with his new land rover.
  20. a few last bags of seed and fer being unloaded by one of the farms john deere loaders. the drill being loaded
  21. the 7530 finishing the field and the 6430 back of to the farm.next pic is of the 6930 and power harrow working infront of the farms other 7530 and lemken drill. the big drill is out on contracting work so this is used as a back up.
  22. firhills spring planting 2008 firhills farm is about 800 acres but has a large contracting business. we run a fleet of john deeres from 6410's up to 7930's.All ploughing and sewing is carried out in house. the farm is located in the north of scotland near arbroath. first pic is of the 6930 and grubber, 6330 and 4 furrow and 7530 and 5 furrow. next pic is of them arriving at the field.
