  1. My mate tractor both the spreaders are hired from the same guy. He won the lottery and started his own contracting business
  2. While I was at home i did a little bit of muck spreading(pig mixed with cow) picture not that great as it was pouring it down. when I finished went to see my mate about going out on the pop guess what he was doing ye the same as me except he was using chicken S##t it isnt as bad as the pig stuff though
  3. YE it sounds likeyou cover a bit more ground with the six. but then there is the cost of the plough and the need for two big tractors. we are just a small farm. the guy that we work for at the tatties must have about 2500 acres and they still run 2 4furrow vary widths the same as us. they have two workers ploughing at 2 weeks at a time. he says he likes the 4 as the headlands are smaller.
  4. had a mate that used to drive the engine he loved it.he is a ford lover though. he is now working at home and supprise they have fords too
  5. the 520-50 we had before had a bit of problem with over heating it was like an oven in the summer or at the silage. but they work the hardest on any farm and get treated like crap.
  6. Martin that must be one of mitchells oldest trucks there.no sign of he old fire engine for washing them down.
  7. we like it for getting into all the small cattle courts you can turn it around inside and its very quick
  8. I know they are cracking machines, this one on a x plate was bought second hand last year it still has only 2330 hrs on it. does most of the baling contract rapping and most of the ploughing. ther're aintmuch difference in time between a 4 and 6 furrow anyway.
  9. I but i think that they have a couple of multy drives as well. A friend lives next door and a guy that i was at college worked there
  10. once you've driven the 7920 with autopower for a while you get used to it but its like they say each one to their own.
  11. not a big ford fan gav JD man through and through but it does look smart.what is the JD.
  12. I took it up with the 6820 before i started spreading dung on the same field we usualy take up the press with the other tractor.if we are ploughing with the 68 we sometimes dont bother with the wieght box. the 64 does most of the ploughingthough as our 68 is used for contracting at the tatties both t planting and lifting.
  13. i she is a handy machine it is quick for loading bales with t being in 4 wheel steer all the time.
  14. built this for my mate before i went home this summer. this is the tractor that he does all his spraying with and most of all the other jobs around the farm. he is on the farms 718 fendt at tattie planting on the seperator.
  15. this is a contractors called george dailgarno(might have spelt his last name wrong) sprayer he was down spraying our spring barley with round up. it is just a cheap to get him in to do it rather than do it our selfs.
  16. this is the only picture i took of this when i was at home its small but what haedy little machine. this is the second one we had the last was a 520-50.so this has a little bit more power and we got bigger wheels on it
  17. these are some pictures of our 6410 before ploughing and ploughing.
