this years dates for westpoint are jan 18th , april 5th , aug 23rd ,nov 1st
-
a friend of mine had both norscot combines and swapped the cat stuff on to the claas one without much trouble, a bit off topic sorry . i do think the siku one is better than the norscot one. but if its something you want to have a go at doing i think it will work out well.
-
a very good model you have there mate
-
hi guys , jan 18th is the first one of 2009. westcountry farm models will be on our first show .
-
would say its home made.when i was doing caulis we made something similer from a fork lift mast. we made one for riverford organic veg for a TL 100 last year. and for the rear , rear forks extened to take 2 spud boxes.
-
very nice model mate , it might of been easyier to of just swopped the bonnet over ,thats if you had the 2 tractors to make the conversion.
-
cheers chaps . i don't think i have seen any others. i must get on and finish it . going to keep this one a cx 80. and will keep a look out for some more bonnets to do a 4230 LP
-
cheers deere-est ,makes a change for something differentHave a flick in my Farm Talk topic, there are pics of the missus' dads 4210 LP cabbed tractor if you need reference. I think it looks very good Nathan.
-
cheers jamie have had a look and will have a play with that laterGreat to see something a bit different Nathan
,I personally think the cab roof is fine as I don't think you could find any other model with a thinner profile unless you done a plastruct roof.
I just google imaged case 4230 and there was a side on pic on page one if it's maybe of use for decals
i think i know what you mean sean ive seen the odd one about.but i think this is as good as its going to get. might put a loader on it.wasnt the mx roof i saw, was a sort of mix of the one you have and the mx if that makes sence, his other one had simialr on it to, both had glass sunroof/vision posts,as one had a loader the other had the frame work on it,but no arms
-
i have a feeling these cabs were on the stockman version. the other cabs you guys are talking about are the same as the case MX roofs. but i could be wrong. the first plan was to use a 956XL cab & floor and the cx bonnet and this skid unit. but its just the decals side of it that put me off.
-
i have used this one before ,but now they have added more, great site
-
cheers guys , still some work to do. skid unit has to be black. any body know where i could get hold of some 4230 decals. i can't find a good enough side picture to make some.
