  3. by any chance was that Benzies? i was carting tatties for them last year and they had 3 of those trailers, stewart flat trailer with larrington hopper on top. only problem with them is that if the hopper is to full the excess tatties go everywhere

  9. that looks like hrn tractors at insch, they have usually got quite a large stock of machinery, they probably would have quite a few larger models sitting about.

  12. the sale is at thainstone mart mate. dont think its going to be a big sale this time though only unloaded half an artic of junk, 2 pallets of lock block, 7 bags of fire wood and a shear grab \. the other drivers didnt have much to do either mind you there could be a big rush over the next 2 days.
  13. collected my car in the morning, then went tubelinning straw in the afternoon, off to drive a telescopic loader for a few days now, unloading trailers and lorries at the auction mart theres a machinery sale at the weekend although most of the stuff usually would be better going to the scrap yard :
  14. a parcel which i posted to the netherlands on tuesday being returned to me today because it was oversized. it turns out the post office made a mistake they charged me ?11 to post the when it should really be ?22 >
  15. Yip the t8040's had vaderstad drills on, most of the newhollands at the show were coupled to vaderstad implements, only other newholland that sticks in my mind was a tm190 with 3 furrow plough on the front and 5 or 6 furrows on the back.
  16. Been carting straw again, another farmer asked if i could move about 350 bales for him went to start at lunchtime today but the rain last night has mucked up ground conditions, we filled the 2 trailers but could hardly get them out the gate because of them sliding about, \ then we had to try tidy up the road after bringing quite alot of mud out on the tyres :'( had to abandon the job after that hopefully dry up in the next few days. \
  17. yeah it was good loads of kit on show couldn't possibly mention it all, saw the new claas xerion 3300 in action, as well as a couple of cat challengers and i must say the deutz agroton 265 and 180 look the biz they did also have a couple of newholland t8040's in action
  18. no, one of my mates has bought straw beside me so i'm helping him cart it home only thing is its about 2 1/2 - 3 hours round trip in the fog today , although i have passed a few big stacks of straw waiting to be put onto carrots. did you make it along to tillage mart? \
  19. carting straw today, another load tomorrow and that will be another job out of the way
  20. loads of tractors, jd9620? on tracs, jd 7530, cat challengers pretty much every big model of tractor and cultivation machine on the market :P and i forgot the bl*&*y camera
  21. was at a tillage event today, unfortunalty i missed this happening but apparently the driver of a john deere 9620? on tracks drove into the back of a plough :D
  22. the price i got on ebay for some of my stuff, ?35 for a hurlimann SX1500 could have bought this for about ?6 last year.
  23. stacking bales in the shed at home, feeding the beasts and waiting to get 2 new front tyres on the 7840, the old one's were as bald as the olds mans head
  24. your right there FP it seems all you can do is ask them to move on and get some verbal abuse for your troubles.
  25. i hope both junior's are ok, it just shows kids nowadays have no respect and the parents dont seem to care, we are continuly bothered by kids smashing windows, rolling bales, stealing wheelie bins, trying to burn down outbuildings and lately they have started taking down a stone wall and throwing the stones in the burn, in the field or filling the beast's water trough which stops them getting a drink. we went to the police they are not interessted unless we get proof but we cant take their picture because it breeches their human rights and they could accuse me of being a pedofile, it makes my blood boil >. i keep threatning to fill the slurry tanker someday and drive past them and accidently open the back door but no one else will let me. anyway today i have spent the day taking the beast's in for the winter.
