I see. Thanks guys. Have to say I love all the NH combine ranges from the 8000 series onwards. Far more than Claas.
It would be a three way tie between the STS, Cerea and CR for my current favourite. My aim is to try and get a few shots of a CR, assuming anyone knows where to find one within 50 miles of Aberdeen?
i think i know of one \ but not 100% sure, i know its a big new style newholland, 1 person said it was a cr and thats all i know. anyway its up between memsie and strichen. pm me if you want directions.

Looks really nice, but one critisism, the beacons normally are mounted on poles. A bit of brass rod with some UH type beacons on would finish it off a treat. But on the whole, that UH chassis finishes it off beautifully, well after all it is an NH
i agree the beacons are a bit wrong should have spent a bit more and got uh style ones, oh well at least i'l know for the next time.
-
i think it looks better on the uh chassis than on the original britains one, looks more like the real thing
-
was supposed to be round baling barley straw but i think i spent more time out of the cab swearing at the baler than in the cab
-
a few problems with the baler i was on today:
control box said net was not working when it was netting the same with about 20 bales worth of net
baler making different sized bales, one minute a 4 foot next a 5 foot the smaller i set the control box the bigger the bale got
net kept tearing on about 1 in 6 bales meaning having to re-bale them
a chain snapping twice
and then the bl@@@y rain came on :'(
aaaaaarrrrrggghhhhh

glad to be of service Phil P:D
i did see this one when it was in the workshop at am philip at Memsie it nearly filled it with the header on
i'm pretty sure it was a demo model last year.

today i have been topping grass with the renault, carting silage with a Tm155 and then baling hay with the renault and claas baler.
-
topping some grass in the morning, mowing a few verges in the afternoon and probably away to spread some hay in a few minutes.

you can change between the bucket and the fork by just unscrewing and removing 1 and then fit the other attachment and screwing it on.
-
looks good, how did you go about taking off and fixing the bucket/ fork. :)
the standard bucket is held on with 4 screws i took them out, made 2 brackets out of plasticstruct copying the ones on the bucket, glued them on to the muck grape, quite simple really.
What have you been doing or plan on doing today?
