I shall take the camrea fire wooding today as the spliter tractor has a cab on it, older style so it has 3 steps, i could do the same in the digger if you wanted?
-
Thanks for the pics folks, makes me even sader i wasnt there, brings back memories of last year
-
Happy times hey Nick... that 5445 seems so small now as well...
i was just looking at the wheels, they look like row crop ones.... by the time im next over you will have had another new tractor
-
small vid from last year ...
kinda boring realy
-
I am gutted i can not make it this year, but i shall be there in 2012 again, was a good day last year, think i almost made marky cry a couple of times tho.... Good luck and have fun folks
-
2 for me please
and better service than last year, order 1st eat last.... Mrs R was very grumpy wasnt she
-
are you sure it wasnt a 6mtr convo, never herd of a 8mtr my slef i know there is a way to chop the prosol down to 3 mtrs
-
The bonnet is narrow or skinny if you like to give good visibility for the operator. A tractor is a working tool, not a fashion accessory.
I know its a "Row crop" bonnet but why can other makers have thje same hp under a bonnet half the legnth and can still see the same? a narrow long bonnet is horrid for silage stacking,

slightly off topic here but, i drive jds most days i currently hire a 6810 and drive a 6920 mainly, i jumped in the 8420 to move it last night and i couldnt help but notice how long skiny and ugly there bonnets are from the cab, realy dont like them now, if i was buying in that HP area id be looking fendt or valtra, point of this story, the operator has to like the view from the top to be happy and do a nice job, other wise they are distracted

I just did a spred on my barely paddock of 4 t /acre sweeten it up for the grass, you folks must have lumpy lime, we dont change any thing other than the spred rate
in a older Classic tractor mag there is a outfit in aussie that spreads lime with Mb tracs, might be of some help for you
-
yummy id love a real one of them pure class
-
wifey is going to LOVE my next pay pal bill...... looking realy nice, cant wait for mine
-
looks like a 7930 sleept with the new claas xerion and this is the off spring, deere are going backwards in operator comfort and looks in my eyes, and im a bambi man
-
have you got all the permits you need for that marky.....

Nice machines FM, one tip for the NH, take the front axle oil and hub oil out and put 90 gear oil in, dont use the CNH water, we have the case verson of your tractor it it chewd its crown wheel and pinion out just short of 3000,hrs, been 3 others at the dealers since we did ours. hope shes a good yoak for you mate
-
i would disagree with you Bluegreen, i think Valtra are far from boring, the colour choice, metallic options, twin trac and the only tractor manufacturer with its own tractor pulling team, the potential for UH to produce models of the Valtra brand is so huge.
I agree whole heartedly , they have a charm and they have power and the most important COMFORT, id have a valtra over any thing else any day

There was a UNITEL in classic tractor a year or more ago mounted on a old inter, 0nly 800ish hrs on the clock... i wonder why, was mounted on the bonnet, couldnt see any thing realy, ill try find the issue number for the mag
-
There is a company over here that has these mounted on bush rigged fendt 930,s with front blades, very very cool machines
very very nice build id love one of them 8)

i find whenever Profi do an article that is related to models it is very good and informative, but then in my opinion Profi is the best magazine that money can buy when it comes to farm machinery not just for the modern kit!!!
i have to agree with that, best read around, clasic tractor is a close 2nd
