Some cracking pics mate i love the combine im trying to convince my boss that we should sell our jd combine and get a lexion we are nearly finished our autumn harvest here were in our last field of maize in which we are doing just like the guys are doing there the maize cobs make a hell of a racket when they come out of the straw chopper dont they ha ha! By the way have you tried to eat the seeds you got yet dont mate there inedible for us to eat Over here its called dent corn beacuse if you look at a cob all the little seeds have a dent in the end does yours look like that? we grow well this year 2800 acres of maize for the grain its main uses are for cattle feed and over here we have a lot of factorys that will make thanol out of the grain and then turn it into petrol infact there was a program on the discovery channel couple of weeks ago called modern marvels all about the modern maize plant It showed how that it is a man made plant really the plant was a type of grass that grew in the wild in mexico and man has transformed it into its modern day form It also showed some of the products that the maize seed in one way or another can be turned into pretty AMAIZING stuff ha ha! sweetcorn and grain maize are 2 compleatly difernt things mate too i always thought it was just normal maize that you could eat before it starts turning hard but i was wrong we grow a little here for us to eat ourselves in our maize field we will just clean out our maize drill and plant a small patch my boss usually gets the sweetcorn seed free as he spends 1000's of dollars on field maize seed hope this helps you out some mybe i ramble on about too much cr@p pm me if ya like Nick -
