  14. last year it was soy beans our irrigated fields go beans, corn, beans, corn soy beans produce there own nitrogen so we dont have to fertilize them also it then helps out the corn a little too with any left over fertilizer left in the roots of the beans
  15. thx fellas yield is really good we only usually see that kind of yield on irrigated fields she is a bit of a beast yea mate hope fully this will be its last year with us she getting pretty wore out its only a 2004 but its had a hell of a lot of stuff through her 1400 hrs on the seperator the kinze ia a 640 but it has greedy boards on did use the one i bought but right now it has a bearing out thats a 800 i have about 2600 acres of maize to combine 1000 acres of soy beans around 400 acres of milo and 80 acres of sunflowers so it will take me a while ehh got into some really tall stuff this eve i just got home at 10 pm been at it since 7.30 this morn

  18. its that time of year again that we are combining our autumn crops started combining our maize couple of days ago Heres a couple of pics of the crop and the combine so far we pick it as high moisture content then run the grain through a hammer mill and clamp it in a silage pit for feed for our beef cattle first of all my combine a jd 9760sts with a 12 row maize head second a kinze grain cart pretty full hehehe
  19. get in it and be the first to fart on the seat ha ha!
  20. It doesnt bother me one bit it feels really stable looks like it leans over quite a bit this is the first time ive seen it tipping from the by standers view Not too much Tris i would have had to put the silage sides back on and our silage pit is narrow and tight to get turned around so it would have been a pain anyway they were done by 1 oclock anyway so hardly worth my time putting the sides on for 2 half days hauling poo is much beter i only get out the wagon to jump in the cat to load it then i never stop turning the wheel till i get back get 10 loads a day in from about 8 am till 5 28 miles round trip so syill get about 280 miles a day in oh i was gona ask you Tris how many wagons do you have carting to you and how many tons do they carry
  21. Well i didnt get to go on the maize silage team the contractor had enough wagons of his own so i wasnt needed So i have been hauling muck instead and stock piling it in the field http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y1yIQOIQ0FY must be about 800 tons there so far
