  6. this year went not too bad we added a big m, 5 new trailers, krone rake, claas jaguar 900 and a few tractors(fendt 818 and a few newhollands). we cut 6500 acres with two harvesters going most of the time except on wet days :'( :'( and we baled roughly 11000 bales around the country. not a bad year but could have been better weather wise now wating for the sluury ban to lift and itl be hard at the s**t then full open at the grass ;)
  7. i got 5 tms but 3 of them due a change so theres 3 t7060 comin to draw with i have 5 kanes and 4 marstons so thats the trailers sorted ha ha! o and im thinkin on 1 or 2 of martins new herrons aswell :P
  8. thers not many farmers now in n.ireland anaway that tackle the job of cutting their own silage, but some people say that in 10 years time itl be like it was 30 years ago, farmers will cut their own silage because the slurry ban gives contractors very limited income over the winter and with a harvester or whatever sitting needing paid off it aint that good. the price of red diesel wont help either plus the fact that they cant get drivers, or ones that can drive anaway!
  9. i have 5 of martins kanes, an fx58 and 10 foot header that i converted, an fx 60 with 20 foot header, a jaguar 900 a john deere 7500 and a big x, ill manage myself ha ha! unless sum f****r robs my shed when im nt lookin ha ha! HAMILTON CONTRACTS all the way ;)
