The easy way to convert this model is to get your self a Siku Fendt 926.Strip this down by prising off the bonnet and floor pan, remove the tyres and paint the wheels yellow. Then drill the heads off the revits which hold your 3350 together, put back together which epoxy inserting the front axle from the Fendt, you can also 'glue' on the linkage from the fendt although i've never fitted front linkage.
If this all puts you off send it to me and i'll do it!!!
Cheers Paul
I think there's something attractive about the Mashio/Sulky colours myself and would like to paint one up,is the that red and green paint baked on or will nitromorse do the trick Ian ;)
The MF brochere says that all 2WD's in the 5400 series have 16" front wheels 16 divided by 32 = 1/2" the 4020 wheels are slightly bigger than this, doe's anyone know if real 4020's have 17" wheels.
yes you are correct chaps! It is fitted with the front axle from the JD 4020,I have also fitted Britains back wheels as the originals looked too wide.Price ?40
Saw this today at a quarry I delivered a loading shovel to,apparantly the workers came in one monday morning all the fuel and batteries had been stolen and before they left they set about there bowser tractor with a 20ton excavator :o
If these are definate orders please email me at info@pdcfarmmodels.co.uk just so I don't forget please be sure to mention if you are to collect at Toytrac.
Basically most tractors work out at ?40,the row-crops cost me ?20 then i've got to paint them and fit them so I make a little on some and less on others!!
I fit those wheels to Siku JD6920's and UH McCormick MTX175's it seems they will also fit the Renualt/Claas Ares would be good to do one of each I think putting the white or red paint on the wheels would make all the difference.
