get her cast now jez  :-\ :-\

Easier said than done mate.

I would need to cast 100's to make anythign and I don't really want my hobby to become a job so select pieces will be made.

looks great finished jez, one question, are the real ones wider for each extra furrow on the plough they are used with ?? ie 5 f , 6 f ,we never had one on the farm, just used to powerharrow after when we seeded so never had to use one infact see one ,dont remember anyone using them in my day to be honest

I suppose the horses struggled enough in your day sean??  :D :D

Um, yes basically, the brochure says they go from 1.3 m to 3.9 m wide but no idea how you get it down the road??

When they get larger they are normally mounted on the plough.

yes the old shires did struggle, thats why we bought fergys mate :D :D :D :D, only asked as i have seen smaller ones ,but never knew if it was furrows that decided how wide you went, or other factors
