Plastruct

I would like to have a go at a few trailers etc. Would Plastruct be suitble, if so what thickness would be suitable and where can you get it. Sorry if this has already been posted thanks

plastruct from any good model shop or online, like EMA......sorry......., so you should be :D

for trailers though, brass may be better \, best to talk to Dan or the others who make them, really depends what your aiming for Ads \ \

Thanks mate, well wanted to have a go at 1 a corn trailer and want to have ago at a lowloader, brought some loli pop sticks for the bed :D

i have some from plastic, really depends on what your making, brass is stronger, plastic easier especially if they are more for dispaly

What thinkness whould be good for a Corn trailer sides \

90 % of my stuff is from 1mm or 1.5mm thick plastic card, only tend to use thinner if i need curves as its easier to bend

for my trailers i use 1.5mm plastruct sheet for the bed of my trailers and 1mm plastruct sheet for the sides of the trailers.

Depending on the type of trailer i use mainly brass but some times i use plastruct tube.

Brass is good if you can solder and need strenght in the chassis.
