stehos
A very nice conversion. Love the cab interior. Would like to see this 7810 and Paul's one side to side. Finally the rebadged 5610's are all worthless now Jack.
Farmer Giles
Fantastic job there Barry. Really good to see someone helping people like myself who are just starting out. Can you tell me how you glazed the cab as I would love to glaze some of my Fords. Many thanks and again well done. Colm

them3kid
is it based on the new britains ford 5000 or the old metal 5000?
them3kid
ahh.thot that. must get started on my 10 series range. the new 1000 series by britains give agreat starting point for the bonnets compared to the 5610 bonnet. IH885XLMAN
Ta.... UH MC115.... added to x-mas list....[glow=red,2,300] what kind of person asks for Christmas presents so that they can rip them to pieces almost immediately..[/glow].. Well, apart from my kids Im getting a UH Fordson Major ...... Im ripping the bonnet ...rear fenders .........adjusting the manifold .....rounding the front axel................a splash of IHC Mccormick red and creame ...... allso looking at a ...britains MF 595 cab a few modifications and i should be able to knock up a IH 614 with cab-craft cab also a 634 if project b-1 goes well ;) ;) hey i love the 7810 conversion by the way a brilliant "how 2 do" conversion topic like the interior aswell got the front nose cone bang on one question if UH bring out the ford 5000 would that be easier to make in to a serise 10 front as they look quite the same funily enough :'(
craigy69
great conversion!!! am i right in saying a 6810 wouldnt be too far from these steps? planning my summer project!!
Barry
I think a 6810 is a 4 cylinder, so you would not need to cut a join 2 5000 engines, just use the 5000 engine as it is
