THEBRITFARMER
I have never seen the Ayrshires at all so its nice to see yours . I also have the lead Ayrshire calf, would like to get a hold of the cow & bull in lead but at the prices of $150 + per piece it is not very likely :'(

the other green
I remember being in Hanley's (?) the big toy store in London, is it still there? Anyway, in about 1986, just before Christmas, and they had baskets by the tills full of Britains farm and zoo animals and people were buying them by the handful, like sweets at the supermarket tills. There was one bloke doing nothing but re-stocking these baskets. The folks behind would see the people in front picking them up and want some too, it was quite something to see. THEBRITFARMER
There are quite a few different variations done on the cattle over the years. I think the Highlands are one of my fav's as well.

THEBRITFARMER
Nice collection TBF, Where did u get the Ayrshire bull? He's not a bad model. I wish I owed that model :'( :'(. I have the lead calf but at a price of $180-$200 don't think I will be owing that bull anytime soon. The lead Ayrshire's were only made for a few years 1955-59 (I believe) and are quite scarce.
