Interesting info, I put the price of the TW35 into an inflation calculator and got £90441.78 at todays prices

i always thought Ford to be cheaper than Massey but then it would be the price after discount to consider.

In 1988 my old boss had a Case IH 1056 for less than a Ford 8210, the 1056 had wider wheels, air con, 40k box, twin assistor rams  its not hard to see why Ford lost out when manufacturers were offering such spec as standard.

With the inflation calculator it makes todays tractors reasonably priced, i guess however much machinery costs it will always be expensive.
