Painting tips please

Is it me... or is painting your new modelwork the worst job in the world  - It's sooooooo boring as it takes sooooooo long to do - just grown a beard in the workshop painting a handful of small items - any tips on how to speed this up would be GREATLY appreciated

Might be a bit small for that Marcus they'd probably get blown around too much - have got spraying kit though

not unless they were atatched to some thing , the only other thing i can thinkof is dipping but it's very wastefull & it drips

OR paint the  wood afore you build them ?

i know that only too well , i get impatient, then the paint starts bubbling cos i put it on too thick cos i cant wait any longer, all the hard work has been done and you just wanna see it finished don't you
