wheel size

guys need a little help here with some conversion sizes, starting a model soon while i cant paint the pettit, and for the life of me cant work out a suitable tyre/wheel size

the sizes in the book are

rear = 14 x 28,

fronts = 9.5 x 15

am i right in saying that these meassurements are  width x dia?? and in inches almost like car tyres ect, cant for the life of me remember

Sean 14 x 28 is a 16.9 x 28 tyre which is 28 inch inside diameter and 14 inches wide.

that being 14 " at the rim but 16.9" at the treadface

In think the rear tyres on the UH CLAAS JAG 60 SF are about 12,5 X 15.....? but can't be sure.

so its basicly the rim size, then add tyres, right recon i have got that now, cheers lads, time to double convert ,"s in mm then into 32nd scale ;D  wheres that caculator when you need it
