moogie
I have never tried to scratch build any farm implements before, so i thought i would start of with something small and relativity easy. This is what i have got so far; It isn't based on any make in particular, just made it up as i went along. Hope to get some paint on it today and then fit the rubber strip. Even though it is small i think there is about 4 hours work in it so far. Any comments welcome to what i have made wrong.
Marmitemania
Very good for a first attempt, I think im going to have a go at this type of thing, I have restored a few model tractors in the past and very pleased with the results, I dont know if I could master this, keep upo the good work, as said if thats your first go its impressive. IH885XLMAN
and it just goes to show yours looks better than the old britains scraper version also look at that MF 135 pick up hitch it is perfect and just goes to show what backward progress has been going on with the manufacturer over the last 30 years hopefully britains will be on top form with there new pickup hitch \
moogie
Got a coat of paint on it, sorry about the colour, stores were running a bit low on paint selection. The rubber strip is 1mm thick and very soft. Cant remember where i got it, but wish i could find some more. makes great scale mud flaps. Well pleased with how it turned out. What could i make next? BRITAINSMAD
excellent effort moogie! I reckon it would look well on a different make of tractor though. If you used a Weise tractor for example you could make use of the top linkage point on the scraper and it would really set it off.
archbarch
cracking job looks good, straight out of the farm workshop. I prefer the simpler/smaller kit it is so overlooked by the manufacturers.
