Massey Conversion

moogie

Question

If i were to make a Massey Ferguson 595 4X4 what would be the best and easiest front axle to use?

The Fiat DT 880 front wheels are about the correct size, would this axle work? I would like the steering to still work than to be fixed.

Thanks, Noel.

How about an MF240 from a UH 135 skid 'Moogie Woogie Bugal Boy from Company B'  ??? (only Pops is old enough to remember that song.. sorry to anyone under the age of 85)

Martin Reeve made me an MF230 once like that.... it is suuuuuuuperb in the extreme.. I'll get some pictures up tonight for inspiration if you like ?

Would love to see it. Thanks.

i have a feeling the pin hole on the fiats slightly different? might be deeper or shorter so the wheels either wont fit, or are slack, hence why the deutz ones uses as paul also mentioned, i have a fiat one and a mf chassis i nthe shed so can try for you before you pull anything apart if needed

Hi Sean, did you get a chance to have a look over the weekend?

Thanks, Noel.
