Massey Conversion

If i were to make a Massey Ferguson 595 4X4 what would be the best and easiest front axle to use?

The Fiat DT 880 front wheels are about the correct size, would this axle work? I would like the steering to still work than to be fixed.

you and your 240's, once uh do a 32nd 135 one, the cabbed one, 240's like yours will be easy

Whan i was a kid use to convert my MF595 buy taking the front tyres of a scrap dx i had a putting them over the 2wd tyres crude but did me when i was young,

thats weird,thats exactly what i used to  do

How about an MF240 from a UH 135 skid 'Moogie Woogie Bugal Boy from Company B'  (only Pops is old enough to remember that song.. sorry to anyone under the age of 85)

Martin Reeve made me an MF230 once like that.... it is suuuuuuuperb in the extreme.. I'll get some pictures up tonight for inspiration if you like ?

i have a feeling the pin hole on the fiats slightly different? might be deeper or shorter so the wheels either wont fit, or are slack, hence why the deutz ones uses as paul also mentioned, i have a fiat one and a mf chassis i nthe shed so can try for you before you pull anything apart if needed

yes mate, sorry i forgot to post back, the fiat axel does fit but the hole the chassis pin goes through is slightly to deep, so the steering does not work right, way to tight, best option would be the deutz one, i know i used that in the past as a young lad
