Deere-est Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Very popular on flails, Mike. This is due to reverse being as quick as forward speed, very handy as you will know. Most others especially nowadays drop a range or so for reverse. Big cab for it's day with lots of floor space, still can be said in comparison with some of todays tractors to be honest. MADONFORDS Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 my dad used to drive a ford 7840 powerstar sle with a blue roof on a n plate,he is retired now,but we went to a ploughing match last week and his tractor was there so we got a chance to drive it on a set of discs,first time i had driven it. Its like they say round here though old fords never die they just rot it does not seem to matter where in the world you are or what type of ford viehcle it is either. our climate is fairly dry in Manitoba Canada but fords still rust.
