Deere-est
I had a blue one too. The green is the latest or so I believe.
ValtraFan
I have a yellow one which i think was originaly produced as an autoway model, but mine is in a rainbow box and only appears in the 1988 catalogue, so i guess its quite rare in that box

NIGEL FORD
How many variants of the britains post hole borer are there and which if any are the rarest?? I have three of them, a yellow, a blue and a green. Yep, me too. I seem to remember the blue one has yellow/red warning stripe stickers instead of whatever was on the others.. CMB
Sorry to dig this one up, but does anyone know if the post hole borer came with a crystal light pointing forwards, a working light I guess? Thanks
Deere-est
I've a feeling mine did. .
Eurodeere
Yes it did have a crystal light but was it pointing forward or backwards? Depends whether you fitted it to the front or rear of the tractor

FB
as metioned, i think they had the crystal light which then got changed to painted lights, similar to the JCB Loadall \ \
ploughmaster
The early green one had a jewelled worklight (mounted on the pto guard ). I think the Autoway one did also, but the later re-issued ones in blue or yellow had the recess painted white instead.
Marmitemania
I might be wrong but.....I think they did a red post hole borer aswell.

ploughmaster
The early green one had a jewelled worklight (mounted on the pto guard ). I think the Autoway one did also, but the later re-issued ones in blue or yellow had the recess painted white instead. Just to update this, having checked my versions: The Green one has a jewelled light, as do both the Autoway and the re-issued Farm version in Yellow. The Blue farm one has no jewel, and the recess is NOT painted white. I haven't come across a red one, so can't verify whether it exists or not.
